If you go to abc kansas city it looks like they may have found her in a wood area in the water. Not totally sure but they are saying breaking news.

I for one, who in there right mind would leave a door unlocked at night is beyond me.
I don't care what kind of town/neighborhood anyone lives in.  This invites danger, especially with her husband working nights and small children involved.

The missing phones are totally hinky and someone is hiding with whom they were in contact with that night.

So, has the story of a man carrying a baby been ruled out?  Stranger things have happened in regards to coming into a home and taking a child.  Example:  Keinen Hebert.  She very well could have fallen asleep before locking the doors and turning out the lights.  What do we know about the neighbors (and anyone over there)?  Who was she drinking with?  Those around her knew how much she had and could have taken advantage of the situation like others have said.

Another possibility is that someone was at the grocery store, saw her purchase baby items, followed her home and waited for an opportunity.

At this point, anything is possible. 

The phones missing bothers me!  Why would someone take them? Unless something is on the phone/phones that someone does not want discovered. 

Yes, Kimmy.  I hadn't thought about that possibility.  Maybe the handyman was in the store that night?  That is possible too.  We have a man that hangs around the gas station hoping for some handouts.  I see him there quite a bit...maybe this handyman hung around the store that she was at that night and remembered her from the neighborhood that he had previously been in asking for work?

I just do not know what to think about this case.  I want to give the mom the benefit of the doubt, but there are a few points I can't let go.

The doors/ windows open & unlocked - especially on the 1st night dad was working all night.  I don't know the neighborhood, perhaps it is common to leave doors unlocked?

The window to the computer room, IF the intruder came thru that window, why leave the screen?  One would assume time would be of the essence if stealing a baby.  Is it safe to assume the perp would go out the same window they came in - not knowing any other exits???  Would the perp risk climbing in a window facing the street?

The phones are a BIG sticking point for me.... Why would an intruder take the phones?  To keep someone from calling 911?  Really doesn't make sense - If there were 3 phones, there could have been another phone somewhere.... Did the perp check to see that there were no landlines?  The phones could be a way of tracking - who would want to take that risk?

Baby Lisa not waking, that we are aware of... I know there are always differences in  children, but in most of my experiences with small children that age, especially when woken up and especially when they are sick, they are cranky when disturbed, even the most even tempered, friendly child.  A child can sense a stranger - their face, their smell, their way of holding them.   If someone did snatch Lisa, I would imagine getting out of that house as fast as possible would be their goal.  Can't see them stopping to pic up the phones and going all around the house to find their exit point.  They had to have planned which way to leave?

I sure would like some background info on Deborah.  Did she ever work outside the home?  What is she like?  Who are some of her friends?  Was she involved in the other children's school?  Could she have been doing a little somethin' somethin' on the side with "handyman"?

I really just want Lisa to be brought back home.  What a beautiful little girl.

A HANDYMAN would likely know that they did not have a land line if he had done work in their home.

What I notice is that while ABC, NBC, CBS are focusing on the search, FOX is focusing the PI and how a "wealthy Benefactor" brought Wild Bill to KCC.

NBC's Today reported that Bradley was seen buying wine and baby wipes.

Clerk Rebecca Guerrero told CNN that investigators seemed to be interested in one thing in particular.

"They pretty much asked me, you know, if she was depressed. You know, if she seemed depressed and how she acted around the baby, you know. If she seemed stressed out," Guerrero said.

Guerrero said Bradley was a frequent customer and someone she has seen often.

"I pretty much told them she never looked depressed around me," Guerrero said. "She always seemed to have a smile on her face when her kids were around."
