This case is so confusing and I don't get the actions of the parents, Gill Abetya (sp) who suffered thru a tragedy so eerily similar drove from CO to MO to help out, he is a cop and IMO could provide valuable insight (far better than Wild Bill IMO), so why not let him help? The only reason I could think of it that they are afraid he might pick up on the inconsistencies etc.....I'd take help from anyone to be honest with you, something is very wrong and I think the parents know what that is......

You're right about Mr. Abetya (I'm not sure either, LOL) but Lisa's parents can't prevent his consulting with LE or anyone else.  He did say last night that he and his wife were suspected of harming their baby boy, too, at the time he went missing. I don't know what he could contribute, though.  His son was stolen under similar circumstances, the culprit was never caught, and the baby was never recovered, dead or alive.  He and his wife endured a terrible tragedy, but it doesn't make him an expert on finding missing children. He does have my deepest sympathy.

That is true, but when Eli died having those hold our hands who had also endured the same was a tremendous source of comfort........I think he might be able to provide inbvaluable insight. IIRC he has a missing children organization. I am sick as a dog so if my post make no sense that is partially why, I am going to see if he's ever helped to find a child and bring them home.

Yes, I remember when little Eli died, Island Monkey.  My heart hurt for you and your family.  Mr. Abetya could certainly be a source of emotional support.  I do believe that in a case of a missing child it is best to trust the authorities who have training to locate missing people.  But on the other hand, we haven't seen a lot of success from LE in these cases.  Lisa is so little and the world is so big.  But maybe Mr. Abetya has experience of which I'm not aware.
I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, you know kids when school starts......they bring home all kind of bugs! I pray this case is one of the few that is not part of the stats that are the norm, please God let her be found alive and I do remember your prayers, that too helped so much as did the comfort we rec'd. Muffy was a huge source of support as everyone else was, but in particular she was amazing and helped me tremendously too.

I wonder about the items bought with the wine, could the food and wipes be these? I feel like crap for thinking that, but call me a cynic, these parents gave me a bad vibe from the first day. Praying like nothing else, fresh diapers =hope!

Just a thought;
could the perp have been stupid/ballsy enough to have called his accomplice with the cell phones he stole at 2:38am from right outside the Irwin's house giving the last ping at their address?  Wow.  Might of been calling someone for a ride.  

I hope they get SAR dogs out there to this abandoned house if there is no clear sign of Lisa.

Wow...that's the house that I went by today.  There was an older man walking around looking down at a big dirt pile right next to it.  I wonder if he's the one who made the discovery.  Right across the street is a greenway with woods .  I'm sure it was searched by the police yesterday.

I hope this is real and not somebody playing games or planting items to hinder the investigation.  Stanton claiming to need to compose himself (paraphrasing because I can't recall his exact words) on Judge Pirro's show over this new development was way over the top IMO.
