KANSAS CITY, Missouri - As the search for baby Lisa Irwin begins its 13th day, local authorities are receiving some extra help.

Twenty-five members from the 1,139th Military Police Company of the Missouri National Guard, based in Harrisonville,Mo. started searching an area in the vicinity of the 3700 block of N. Jackson in Kansas City, Mo. early Sunday.

National Guard joins search for missing Missouri girl

(CNN) -- The governor of Missouri on Sunday ordered the deployment of 25 National Guardsmen to help search for an infant girl missing for nearly two weeks.

The members of the Missouri National Guard's 1139th Military Police Company, based in Harrisonville, will spend one day in Kansas City to help local and federal authorities look for 11-month-old Lisa Irwin.

On Friday, a private investigator working for the family said two anonymous benefactors had offered a $100,000 reward for Lisa's safe return.

Police, who were joined in their search effort by federal authorities last week, have said they have no suspects or solid leads in Lisa's disappearance.

YW.  We think alike in some ways seahorse.  I've considered putting a post it note on my forehead to remind me of things, but then I would have to write it backwards so I could read it properly when I look in the mirror.   

It's hard to believe we still don't know what happened to Lisa and that she's still missing.

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has ordered the National Guard to assist in the efforts to find baby Lisa.

Nixon said Saturday that 25 members of the Missouri National Guard's 1139th Military Police Company, out of Harrisonville, will be in Kansas City on Sunday for a one day deployment to help in the search.

The guard members began searching a wooded area near the 3700 block of Jackson Avenue Sunday morning, going over areas with fresh eyes, said FBI spokeswoman Bridget Patton.

According to the FBI, the search of the area was not based on a specific tip

  Shades of Cindy A AND the Cummings case IMO. I read on one of the Lisa Irwin FB pages (again it was 3 in the morning so I am going to have to find the link) that a woman called KCPD about the fact her grandfather owned the house where the diapers were found, her name was Christy and she said it was bought out ot widen a road and going to be demolished so she and her friends had a party there and the diapers were her childs (who was 11 mos at the time), no clue about the Scooby Doo BP........and on Seamus O Riley a woman was posting that "knew" DB yrs ago when she live in NC, she had details, even the address, no clue if she is lying or not, but her detail was impeccable. It wasn't a nice picture and I am sure some of it was embellished (I hope if it's true). I will try to find those links.

I don't think a live Lisa is coming home and worry she may never be found, this baby needs to be laid to rest properly if she's no longer with us, and by some miracle if she is still with us......she needs to be brought home ASAP, but again my gut instinct is not feeling it
