Taco on Fox - says this is ridiculus - LE has had unfettered access from the house since day one - the parents have given them permission to look at anything LE wants all along

I shut my daughter's door and you won't find a person alive that takes children's welfare more seriously than I do.  The slightest noise wakes her up so we have a sound machine going & the door closed.  I do however have a VIDEO monitor by my bedside and then one just for sound as a backup.  Alot of parents HAVE to.  If you have older kids on the same floor that go to bed at a different time or gets up earlier they'll wake them.  I for one am a light sleeper & wake up when my daughter rolls over or even sneezes and trust me I have the undereye lack of sleep bags to prove it!  All so she can get a good night's sleep!  Hey anyone who has a child that sleeps well & CAN leave the door open I'm jealous of.  I haven't had a good night's sleep in 2 1/2 years!  Now with all of that said I honestly don't think this woman even had the monitor on!

Investigators Enter Missing Missouri Girl's Home
Published October 19, 2011
| FoxNews.com

 ::snipping2::
Shortly after sunrise on Wednesday, FBI crime scene trucks and trailers arrived at the house, as well as dozens of FBI agents and Kansas City police officers. Officers later searched the back of the home with shovels, rakes and a ladder at least 8 foot long. No authorities would comment on the nature of the latest search.

Sgt. Stacey Graves, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Police Department, said up to 50 law enforcement officers from the department and the FBI were participating in the latest search.

"We are still actively working this investigation," Graves told FoxNews.com. "We don't have any suspects and we're looking at every angle, which should be evident. We're following up on every tip and every lead."

Police, FBI agents, officers from area law enforcement agencies and the Missouri National Guard, have already searched the family's home, neighborhood, nearby wooded areas, a landfill and abandoned homes. Police have refused to discuss any evidence gathered in the searches, saying only that they remain without a suspect.

"We have a warrant for the house," city police spokesman Capt. Steve Young told The Associated Press early Wednesday. He did not explain why a warrant was necessary. There was no indication that the family has tried to block investigators' access to their home, which has already been scoured by FBI agents with dogs.

Yikes that would be horrible.  My daughter had terrible, I'm walking the floor from 10pm til 8am, colic and got her first teeth at 5 weeks.  We even had a sleep specialist come in to help us figure out how to get this baby to sleep at night.  Her idea was to let her "cry it out".  Uh no.  I have a feeling Lisa's mom embraced that line of thought (nothing wrong with it for some folks) to the EXTREME!

Nothing was mentioned about crying.  I thought maybe the clicking might've been digging?

About giving the police reign of the home, police can dig deeper with a warrant. Plus everything found is fair game.

I think the attorney would do his job best, if he makes his clients reveal what happened, and where is Lisa.

Trimm, why would they come back with a search warrant if they had access all along?  For fear the attorney would stop them?  make it official?  can rip up the floors & not worry about repercussions?

Thinking that Lisa maybe got bored, and nobody came to check on her. So, she picked a bottle of medicine from the table nearby, and messed with the safety cap for a very long time until she opened and drank it.

Well, I don't know... but would explain a lot.

Doesnt it sound funny JI trying to clear himself even on this tape by mentioning he wasnt home so he doesnt know anything.

<respectfully snipped by Tamikosmom>

Bingo!

Was that the plan when Jeremy worked his very first night shift at an establishment where a security camera could provide him with an alibi?  He would not be considered a suspect.  He could avoid a polygraph.

Was "Maria" unknowingly used to provide an alibi ... an alibi that implied Debbie did not have the time or the mindset to plan the disappearance of her baby as well as the cell phones?

In other words ... did little Lisa meet her demise in the hours prior to Jeremy's departure to work?

Mom of missing tot says she took lie detector test

<snipped>

Kansas City police spokesman Steve Young has declined to comment on any polygraph tests, citing the ongoing investigation.

Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, says he has offered to take a lie detector test, but that police say that's not necessary.

I can relate to you on walking the floors my son had 3 month colic it was 22 hours a day with him though i would be rocking him in a dream like state but never once did I ever think of letting him cry or just doing something else with him. The only thing that helped and if your still going through this is plain and simple feed baby at bed time make sure she has a good full tummy dry diaper and lay her down in her crib pull a rocking chair close so she can see and hear you, The one thing I have noticed with DB is that she does not have that mother tired look about her, wonder why I mean here she has 2 active boys I take it plus a baby I would totally be worn to a frazzle, I babysat for my sister she had 2 boys and her oldest son is 8 months old from my son and then her 2nd son is 8 month younger then my son when i would baby sit for her and she came and got her boys I was dead tired.

Oh that's scary but could be so true!  You know the 'clicking' sound those baby caps make when you turn them without pushing down!  :O
