Well, I learned something new today.  I didn't know there was such a thing as a portable x-ray device that could be carried in a van.

I had a sad thought what If the clicking noise the kids heard was the baby shaking her crib like come get me outta here!? Did thy say she was crying?
I remember our baby swing made a clicking noise while it was operating. In fact, when my son was about Lisa's age he tried to get out of the swing. He was becoming quite mobile and would rather be on the floor. He was quite the little monkey Houdini. As he attempted to shimmy out of the restraint he became tangled and fell forward (he was standing in the swing). Luckily, I had came back in the room and he was literally hanging upside down by his waist. Goes to show you that you can not leave babies alone.
If Lisa was as mobile as she appeared, a baby swing wouldn't secure her. I think I recall DB in one of the last interviews saying something about "yes" Lisa was walking.

Good Afternoon,

Yes I recall very clearly the clicking sound of the baby swing when mine were young...and many times baby preferred swing  over the crib..and would fall t sleep immediately. ..wonder if they had a swing..anyone know?
Yes, it was in a picture inside of Lisa's room, I don't have a link but it may be in first thread. I haven't had a swing in 8 years and Lisa's looked like the newer models. I am not sure if the new ones are as noisy as the old ones used to be.

Yikes that would be horrible.  My daughter had terrible, I'm walking the floor from 10pm til 8am, colic and got her first teeth at 5 weeks.  We even had a sleep specialist come in to help us figure out how to get this baby to sleep at night.  Her idea was to let her "cry it out".  Uh no.  I have a feeling Lisa's mom embraced that line of thought (nothing wrong with it for some folks) to the EXTREME!
I can relate to you on walking the floors my son had 3 month colic it was 22 hours a day with him though i would be rocking him in a dream like state but never once did I ever think of letting him cry or just doing something else with him. The only thing that helped and if your still going through this is plain and simple feed baby at bed time make sure she has a good full tummy dry diaper and lay her down in her crib pull a rocking chair close so she can see and hear you, The one thing I have noticed with DB is that she does not have that mother tired look about her, wonder why I mean here she has 2 active boys I take it plus a baby I would totally be worn to a frazzle, I babysat for my sister she had 2 boys and her oldest son is 8 months old from my son and then her 2nd son is 8 month younger then my son when i would baby sit for her and she came and got her boys I was dead tired.

I hear you Jazz!  I 45 with a 2 1/2 year old.  Talk about pooped.  My idea of "adult time" is not drinking  but curling up in a nice snuggly bed and getting some sleep!  Wow 22 hrs.  It's sad they haven't figured out what colic is too.

Is anyone else listening to the scanner right now?? I only half heard, but I caught the words "trailer" and "evidence" and I'm wondering if anyone heard it? I'm not sure if it's pertaining to this case, but I read that LE seemed to take interest in a trailer on the property during their search today, so wondering if they brought it in as evidence?

There was an interview on KCTV5, on Deborah's friends from back in 2002/3 in Fort Bragg.

I thought the interview would bring up all the dirt that was discussed on the blogs by the two ladies. But, one talked about them going to clubs, being young, and drinking. The other who talked about the husband-stealing, the car egging, the stealing of lawn ornaments, etc... didn't say much, only said she was sorry to hear what happened to Lisa.

http://www.kctv5.com/story/15728409/former-friends-of-deborah-bradley-speak

she would of been like 16-17?  at this time in 2002/3?  Color me confused but these 2 friends look to me to be more than a few yrs older than Deborah Irwin and they refer to her as a military wife like theirselves at the time?  Just seems odd to me considering the ages here.  Deborah's son is the six yr old right?  so she had him at 19?  so what child of Deborah's are they referring to as having played with theirs?  Maybe I'm just all all confused on these women.

Probably because Tacopina isn't licensed to practice in Missouri.

I believe it's Cyndy Short

Cyndy Short graduated from law school in 1987 in St. Louis, Missouri.  She was toiling away in a small labor law firm when she was appointed to represent a young poor woman accused by the federal government of attempting to assassinate Jesse Jackson during his 1988 presidential campaign. This experience changed the course of her practice, and she dedicated most of the next 15 years of her career to the representation of poor people as a public defender in Kansas City(first in the trial division, then in the capital litigation division where she served as head of that office for nearly a decade).  Cyndy's achievements for her clients are too numerous to mention.  But one highlight occurred very early in her career, when a jury angered by the treatment of her client acquitted him and demanded an apology from the police and prosecutors for their wrongdoing. Once she devoted her practice to death penalty cases, she achieved wonderful results for her clients including dismissals, acquittals, and an exoneration.  Her accomplishments have not gone unnoticed.  She received the Lon O. Hocker Memorial Trial Lawyer Award in 1997, given annually by the Missouri Bar in recognition of outstanding trial work.  She also received the Defender of Distinction Award in 1998 for her dedication to representing poor people charged with serious crimes.  That is the highest honor given by the Missouri State Public Defender. The Western Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty recognized her work on the Dick Dexter case with their Courageous Litigator Award.

Cyndy Short graduated from Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers' College in 1994.  Since 1997, she has been a TLC faculty member trains lawyers and judges around the country.   She also serves on TLC's board as the liaison for TLC's alumni association (The F Warriors).

Numerous people owe their freedom and their lives to Cyndy's dedication, compassion, personal sacrifice, and skill as a trial lawyer.

Lisa Irwin: Kidnapped from Kansas City, Missouri on 10/04/2011

What I saw today on the live feed of the search warrant execution at the Irwin family home:

1. People in white CSI suits going in and out of the front door of the Irwin family home carrying 1 large black panel then walking over to what has been described as a bomb squad truck, staying there for a minute or so, then walking back to the house with an identical large black panel. Based on proportions, I'm guessing the panel is about 2 1/2 feet X 4 feet in dimension. (We believe these are X Ray panels.)

2. A man in a white CSI suit raking along a structure then also digging with a shovel and depositing the dirt off to the side.

3. At least five people in CSI suits at the back of the yard almost shoulder to shoulder pulling at and moving brush to the side. Some brush was carried up to the flat area and deposited in a pile.

4. Two people in white CSI suits lifting a septic hose that appears to be at least 30 feet long and 3 inches in diameter then shaking it.

(This is an aerial photo taken prior to today where you can see the hose: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=133203410118936&set=a.132614980177779.19900.125929840846293&type=3&theater)

5. One woman in a white CSI suit jumped up and down on the ground about 8 times.

6. One man in a white CSI suit had what appeared to be a metal rod that he was repeatedly jamming down into the ground.

7. The search of the yard appears to be random as they don't appear to be searching in any sort of a grid pattern.

8. There is a large bomb squad truck parked in the road near the Irwin's house.

9. The yard is sealed off with yellow crime scene tape.

3:48pm CMT: Two police cars are parked side by side in the street going opposite directions. It appears the drivers are talking while sitting in their vehicles.

3:50pm CMT: The camera is now aimed at the front door of the house and someone with headphones on is cleaning the lense to the live feed camera.

3:51pm CMT: The notorious reporter with the balding head, long sideburns, tan trench coat and weird hat has his microphone in his hand and appears to be on standby to give a live update. (He is quite the ham. Lol!)

3:55pm CMT: Media update regarding search. (Audio only): http://www.fileswap.com/dl/ubA6aIHHTE/Update_Lisa_Irwin_Warrant_355pm_October_19,2011.mp3.html

Hummmm..What if.....
yes, so many possibilities on what could have happened with baby Lisa. Some people tend to buy these baby items like cribs/swings, put them together and don't even read the manual.....(I have been guilty of this.) It is almost like we are given a false sense of security because the item is made for by a reputable baby company. Some items even serve as a baby sitter to some Mom's. Then something happens because we did not read the manuals or we just trusted that nothing could happen. Baby walkers are a really good example. The old ones that rolled, elevated a child so that it enabled them to pull on cords (crockpots, rice pots, fryers) or even travel down stairs.  I saw a ton of injuries at the burn hospital because of walkers. I am glad the old walkers are not readily available anymore. I would like to see hospitals/pediatricians to emphasize these dangers more with new Mom's. You don't think anything will happen, but it does everyday.

I just want to know if anyone saw any actual evidence being taken out of that house today and carted down to the CSI lab?

Each missing baby case seems to get more convoluted than the last...with added characters inserting themselves for their 5 minutes.  It just blows my mind trying to stay away from all the BS and see the actual facts.
