This should be an easy one for anyone who grew up or has spent time in the Garden State.

Can you name the place where this picture was taken?

5 points extra bonus points if you know the name of this little fellow.

Anyone?

Hint:  This place is Springsteens old stomping grounds....

My DH is a Springsteen groupie. Being a NYorker -- my heart has always been with Billy Joel.

Well, 12 concerts later (all over the US & Canada) I have now told my husband that the only man I would leave him for is the BOSS!

My guess (since I have not been there) based on your clue is Asbury Park.

I know Bruce played a ton at the Stone Pony -- but your pic looks more like the arcade?

btw -- we did see Bruce in Atlantic City this past November. I had never been there before, either.

(If you're a Boss fan Jacquie -- one of my favorites is "if I should I fall behind". Most beautiful love song ever written. I cry every time.)

It's been many years since I've been to Asbury, but one son has friends scattered in shore areas, including there.  I didn't recall the answer, but found it in a search.  Also found the little guy's name.  Want to see if someone really remembers... Wink

I've seen Brucie about 3 times....

I'm a fan, but not a Mega fan like some I know.

I love his tunnel of love song....

And I have always loved BILLY JOEL....

2nj:

Yes, let's see if someone can come up with the fellow's name......

GREETINGS FROM ASBURY PARK..... Laughing

I'll have to cheat and see if I can send the pic to DH. He'll probably know.

I love Tunnel of Love:

It ought to be easy ought to be simple enough
Man meets woman and they fall in love
But the house is haunted and the ride gets rough
And youve got to learn to live with what you cant rise above if you want to ride on down in through this tunnel of love

But after yesterday's ruling, I needed a good cry....so I played it (on my IPod)

IF I SHOULD FALL BEHIND

We said we'd walk together baby come what may
That come the twilight should we lose our way
If as we're walkin a hand should slip free
I'll wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me

We swore we'd travel darlin' side by side
We'd help each other stay in stride
But each lover's steps fall so differently
But I'll wait for you
And if I should fall behind
Wait for me

Now everyone dreams of a love lasting and true
But you and I know what this world can do
So let's make our steps clear that the other may see
And I'll wait for you
If I should fall behind
Wait for me

Now there's a beautiful river in the valley ahead
There 'neath the oak's bough soon we will be wed
Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees
I'll wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me
Darlin' I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind
Wait for me
