Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone!  I was so busy Thanksgiving day I couldn't think.  Then one of our good friends broke the water tank on one of our toilets Thursay and water flooded all over the bathroom.  We've spent the last day removing flooring and the broken toilet and shopping for a new toilet and flooring.  Crazy

Yikes Klaas sounds like you had a very busy Thanksgiving. Thank goodness you had more than one bathroom.  Monkey Devil! That would have been even more fun.

Hello Monkey's!

Green Eyesdo you use red pepper flakes in the birdies food to deter squirrels?  Does anyone else could red pepper to deter Squirrel friends?

How much red pepper flakes?  I think of you Green Eyes when I roll lard and bird seed in cardboard rolls.  I do not think you said Lard, but it works nicely, so far.

I forget about Brandi!  I bet Brandi uses it!!  Do you Brandi?  Smile

Thank-you,

Seahorse

Green Eyes,

Thank-you!

I may experiment.  Black pepper, red Cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes work, reportly.
Keeps mice away too with the pepper.

Pepper - Put a can of black pepper (or any kind of pepper) in the bird seed, and place it in any kind of feeder you wish. The squirrels will stay away. Squirrels hate the taste of pepper.

Cayenne pepper keeps them away! -

To keep squirrels, mice and other mammals from eating all of your bird seed,  ::MonkeyCheer3::before you put it in a feeder. Cayenne doesn't bother birds, but everything else avoids it

Does  a can of black pepper mean a can put in a bird feeder?
