I know how you feel JSM. You can't help but think the worst after so many cases with sad endings. I am so Happy this one had a Happy Ending. an angelic monkey

JSM - Yikes, about the coyotes.  We had them in our neighborhood when it was first built.  I think they are gone now.  There is a lot of trees between my house and my next door neighbor.  When she moved in she had several cats.  Then one never showed back up.  Then another went missing.  Until she was down to one cat.  Get my drift?????????

You can still celebrate Caddy. It's sad when that happens. I know we feed many strays here and I know some have come up missing that most likely the coyotes have gotten them. One night when I was coming back from the store late when I pulled into our drive I had three of them run right in front of me.

Celebrate all you want, it is your birthday month 

Yep, I understand about the cats. I saw one of the ferals this morning acting really weird when I was leaving to go to work. Usually that cat just looks at you like no biggy, she isn't gonna run me over but his eyes were wide and ran straight under a car. Now that I think about it I am kinda freaked out. We have people here that feed all the wildlife, so I think the notice was put out to STOP feeding them. Used to aggravate the heck out of me when people would just throw out bread in the grass for the geese/ducks. Josef would sniff out a bread crumb in a minute and his belly couldn't tolerate it. They should have just waited and thrown the bread to the geese/ducks in the water, not in the grass. Oh and there is one apartment that is completely covered with pigeons. They spread out bird seed every day for the birds.
