Today's adventure.....

Went down to feed the feral cats this morning and there were 3 goats in the driveway. Called the man in the area that has goats and he confirmed that 6 were missing. He and his friend have been on the property trying to catch the goats all morning. Great entertainment  So far the goats are totally winning.

I sure wish I could have been there to see it 4 Donks!!!!!!!!!! Goats are very crafty, so I can imagine that they were winning at the time.

Morning Monkeys, have been able to catch up from last night. I have a cold, it is cold here and I have to go to Mass at 8 this morning. Prayers for all in need. I will catch up as soon as I get back from church. Nyquil gives you nightmares, that is my public service announcement for the day. 

   BBL... hope you have a great day. I hope I don't fall asleep in church.

Good thing you're not in my congregation . . . I would ask the person sitting next to you to wake you up . . . from the pulpit I would say this . . . jk
 

  Sadly Sister, I couldn't fall asleep today, there was a little kid sitting behind and his mom kept telling him Sshhhhhh... most of the time until his Dad came in and the kid then shut up. By then it was time to sit down, stand up, kneel, rinse and repeat. 

That's funny.  How long does Mass last?
 

Depending on who does the homily, if it is the Irish Priest or Texas Priest around an hour, if the Deacon does it, he is very long winded it is about hour and fifteen minutes. (Deacon puts me to sleep because I never can hear a word he says and he drones on and on)

my dog Benji had to have a dental cleaning today and he had 3 teeth pulled...hopefully that will take care of the odor about him that I have been smelling lately...

Hi Cookie, I used to have Nordie's teeth cleaned.  Discovered some dental cleaners in form of chew bones.  You give them to once a day.  It really made a big difference.

Josef only got a cleaning once in his long life. After that I gave him greenies up until the belly troubles. They really worked for him.

Hubs is flying home from Japan as we speak! a long flight for him...
we have the 4 grand daughters over tomorrow night for a sleep over...He better rest up tonight once he gets home..I am sure he will have jet lag..poor guy...

Benji is doing great after having his teeth pulled...I will have to get him some of those dental bones to see if he will chew on them.

Great news Cookie, hubby home, grandkids and Benji doing good.

Got all the grandkids gifts ordered. 
Ordered a part for the oven and the pickup truck.
My work is done!

I have three gifts I am waiting on to be delivered so I can wrap them, and then I am done!

(I usually am wrapping presents on Christmas Eve! NOT this year!)

Yes,it feels great.
Now I can focus on other stuff going on around here. 

   

I am jealous of you being done, I haven't even started.  Guess I will get to it this weekend, but maybe not

Tried peeking in today, but we had a visitor at work that was supposed to train us on a new transcription system, but basically he didn't teach us crap so he is coming back Tuesday.  Hope  you all had a great day.

I went to the bank today and the teller that always asked me  about Josef was there, I finally went to her booth because I have been avoiding her. She said she saw me at church, didn't know I went there, we chatted about the new Mass changes. She didn't know about them. She asked me what else is new, I told her that I lost Josef. She almost cried for me, but guess what I didn't cry. So that is a good thing.

Tomorrow I am going to help my sister paint her new bakery, I hate painting. But it is better than scrubbing the floors  That place is a mess. The lady that owned it before just let it go and left. Icing still in buckets, cookie sheets not washed, but since she left it all the contents in the place came with the lease so she has a lot of dishwashing to do and a freezer that needs to be taken out and dumped (she let the power get shut off)

So if you monkeys don't mind, please keep her in your prayers, she is going through a messy divorce and really needs to get this business going good.

Muffy, when I saw it my heart was broken. I can't believe that people can be so evil. I really pray they find her so that those jerks can be prosecuted.

  Night Monkeys.. I am going to bed. Got a call from my former neighbor that always took care of Josef. Her sister passed away today and funeral is Monday. I hope I can make it because I have meeting. Makes me sad for them, they were always there for me and she was at our hospital and I didn't know and could have been there for them.

They always looked after my Josef, gave him treats and fixed the fence when the little devil figured out how to take the gate off. She didn't know about Josef, I told her and she was so upset about the loss of Josef. I think that us talking about him gave her a bit of peace and laughs that she wouldn't have gotten from anyone else.  At least I hope and pray for the family. They were always there for me.

Have a good evening monkeys. My feet are cold and I have to get up early to go skate.
