Morning monkeys, will catch up later at lunch. Really busy.

Wanted to wish Trimm good luck at the hearing.  an angelic monkey

Now back to the real world.
What a morning.Lawyers met with the judge, then they came out to the property and took pictures and kept us all separated.  No trial this week,it is set for March.
At some point you have to laugh at some of the things you hear.I am more right about these people than even I imagined.
Gotta catch up on my reading now.don't work to hard.

Not sure it is good news or not that the trial is scheduled for March, but glad your legal appointment for today is over!

Also glad you found your Digger reindeer. I left you a post here and in my thread, hoping you would see one of them Wink

I love the Digger reindeer.
Was a bit disappointed about the trial date, but it seemed to really bother the neighbors more so I am good with it.  Monkey Devil!

Hi y'all ... hope everyone is well.  Been missin ya, miss kissin ya        lol

You're all looking good.  Cookie, really love your new avatar.

I was wondering if there's an easy way someone can tell me how to make a youtube video (or want to volunteer to make one for me ? I'll email you the pictures & pay you in monkey hugs, haha)

A friend of mine passed away recently & I have a lot of pictures of her from childhood on up, would love to put a slideshow type thingy of them on there, with music.  Can't figure out how to start.  Can anyone shove me (sweetly) in the right direction with instructions for youtube for dummies?

Thanks,
BG
Try this link www.youtube.com/create  I hear it is very easy to do!  Good luck.

Thank you - but that's where I started a week or so ago, thinking if so many people including kids could make them, I could too.
     I don't get it, lol.

Hi BG - I haven't tried this one but it appears to be free and looks easy.  You can create slideshows with your photos, add music and upload to Youtube.

http://www.slideroll.com/

Edited to change my mind.  Windows Live has a Movie Maker that is free and works pretty well.  Free.

http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker

Thanks Klaas ... The second one requires Windows 7, I still have Windows Vista, too computer stoopid to know how to upgrade tho I remember when I bought this computer a couple yrs ago, it said free upgrade to Windows 7.  I'm hopeless.

Fooled around with the first link, may be able to do that... if I can figure out how to upload it to youtube once I get it done, lol.

hi all..hoping that everyone is doing good tonight.
Chuckie Cheese was a huge ordeal! very crowded..kids running around unsupervised. We had purchased the necessary tokens for our grands to play the games and to ride on the rides. Children were asking us for tokens..of which we said,,,no, go ask your parents..They were hopping on the rides that our grand kids were on, practically shoving our kids off. Then, hubs was playing a game with one grand daughter, a kid about 3 came up to the game, shoved my hubs hands away so he could take over..hubs said , no..we are playing this game and this little punk hit my husband! I kid you not..he was so angry that he hit my husband and ran off. It would have done no good to tell the parents cause they don't care.  This is the youth coming up and it is scary! these kids are thugs and really, their parents are no better. They were rude and pushy and no regard for others at all! Then 2 boys probably about 5 was arm wrestling another little boy who was playing a game of which his parents paid for and the 2 were trying to wrestle the game away from this little boy about 4 yrs old. they ganged up on him..luckily his mother saw them and went right over to them and told them to knock it off..
last trip to Chuckie Cheese for this family! One of the mothers came up to one of her children and said really mean,  get your a@@ over here..the kid was about 4 and he immediately covered his head and cowered..what does that tell ya? the mom was sooooo mean sounding..It is really really sad to see these kids behave this way. I told my husband, they are a product of their environment. If they were raised by a loving family, they could be different kids. one of the mothers left with 8 small children!! 8!! I told my husband, I bet those kids do not get properly put into car seats as they are supposed to..I was soooo angry when I left there...Rude rude people!!! If 4 and 5 yr old kids are acting this way in Chuckie Cheese, think what they will be like roaming the streets when they are teenagers! very sad...sorry for the rant but I still have not gotten over this behavior... shocking I guess...

Yes. Crime and lack of respect for others in general.

Seems so many younger people (and I am talking about young adults) think only about themselves. No concern for their fellow man, or even how their actions affect others. They simply don't care! Been noticing this for about the last 10 years or so. Bad, bad trend for society.

Good morning Monkeys!

My brother is having eye surgery today to remove a cancerous growth.  He lives in a rural area and is making his way to the hospital this morning.  A two hour drive.   Snow squalls are predicted in his area so Im keepng my fingers crossed they arrive at the hospital in time.  A neighbor friend is driving.  Hubs encouraged him to go yesterday and take a hotel but no go.

On the 21st my brother will have surgery for bladder cancer that has returned and at the same time they will do a scraping of the prostate.  Tomorrow, he has to visit the surgeon that will be doing his surgery on the 21st.  Once again the good neighbor will be transporting him and SIL.   I do worry about him.  He is such a good and decent man.

Can  I read this last week and never made it back to tell you that you and your brother and family are in my prayers. It's so hard when we love our family. Prayers his surgery goes well.  an angelic monkey

Thanks Bearly!    ::MonkeyAngel

Hope things have quieted down a bit in your world and Mom and Dad are doing better, healthwise.

How's your cub?  Is he looking forward to Christmas?

My Parents are still having health problems and still need prayers.

My son is excited about Christmas, but his best friend and her twin now live in Cali and he misses them.  He is still looking forward to the Christmas Holidays though.

Bearly,Your folks remain in my prayers.  Know it's difficult for your son, I remember when a friend of mine moved away . . . felt very lonely.
Trimm, hope you are triumpant tomorrow with your property issue.
Can, your folks too remain in my nightly prayers.
JSM, did you get to skate yesterday or did you spend the day helping your sister?
Kittymom, that arm of your husband's looks like it will take a lot of therapy.  Happy thoughts for you in helping with his recovery.
Cad, keeping your family in thoughts as well.
Cookie, hope your Chucky Cheese night turned out well.
Green Eyes and Bud's Girl, good to see you.
CC, take care of yourself and Ruby!
If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry.  I pray for a blanket of comfort for all the monkeys.
Blessings.

Thank you, Sister.  For a child with autism it is particularly rough.  He is also afraid of dogs and everyone we know has one.  Sad

You and your parents are in my prayers Bearly. Sorry about Cubby's friend moving away and him missing them. Glad he is looking forward to the Holidays.  an angelic monkey

Thanks, JSM.  They were very popular girls, so losing his two best friends was tough for him in lots of ways.

One thing, everywhere I go, his classmates tell me what a nice kid he is.  Salespeople also stop me to tell me how polite he is.  People tell me that they met him X amount of years ago once and that he never forgets a name, he remembered them years later.  I am so thankful for his character.

She is lucky to have you.

Headed out to Connie's to finish (probably not) organizing the closet where the Christmas things were -- her kids just jammed stuff in there last year.  I use totes and label them.  Then tomorrow helping Mom again and spending the night at her house.  So everyone stay as warm as you can and be good!
Blessings.

You are amazing.

Yes thank you bearly, I know.

He will return to the hospital tomorrow.  I think they'll remove the dressing.  They grafted skin from upper lid of bad eye and some from his other eye to fill in the hole left from the tumor.
He was running a fever of 38.5 yesterday.  I asked him to have his eye checked to ensure no infection.  Said he just has a very bad cold.

That sounds so painful.

Glad your son is looking forward to the holidays.  Wish he could see his best friend.  Maybe one day.

The girls were home for Thanksgiving.  He did get to see them, but on the day they left they were supposed to have breakfast with them the day they left, but his bff's sister was sick.  They plan too much to do while they are here and end up having to cancel several things.

Tried peeking in today, but we had a visitor at work that was supposed to train us on a new transcription system, but basically he didn't teach us crap so he is coming back Tuesday.  Hope  you all had a great day.

I went to the bank today and the teller that always asked me  about Josef was there, I finally went to her booth because I have been avoiding her. She said she saw me at church, didn't know I went there, we chatted about the new Mass changes. She didn't know about them. She asked me what else is new, I told her that I lost Josef. She almost cried for me, but guess what I didn't cry. So that is a good thing.

Tomorrow I am going to help my sister paint her new bakery, I hate painting. But it is better than scrubbing the floors  Monkey Devil! That place is a mess. The lady that owned it before just let it go and left. Icing still in buckets, cookie sheets not washed, but since she left it all the contents in the place came with the lease so she has a lot of dishwashing to do and a freezer that needs to be taken out and dumped (she let the power get shut off)

So if you monkeys don't mind, please keep her in your prayers, she is going through a messy divorce and really needs to get this business going good.

Hope you all have a great evening, hugs and love JSM

Good luck to your sister.  How soon does she expect to be operating her business from this location?
How nice of you to help her clean up the place and get your hands dirty.  Good on ya, JSM!
Praying that your sister's hard work will result in a successful business.   an angelic monkey

Can not sure when she will get it up and running, she has been doing it out of the house and is slowly working towards getting it opened. A very good friend of mine came and helped, she did the heavy lifting and climbing up the ladders and painting, she did more today while I was at Mass. She even told my sister if she needs help tomorrow she would come help. Thank you for the prayers she really really needs them right now.

How wonderful for your sister.  Your sister and her angels are in my prayers.
