Good morning everyone.
 
I am going back to town today to pick up the prints of the black and white photo I am giving my brother for Christmas.  It was taken when I was about 5 and he was 7 and it is with our only two cousins on my father's side (making copies and framing them for them as well).  Then buying 4 bottles of wine (one for me) and will come home and wrap presents.
 
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.  It's warm this morning but will be getting cooler this afternoon.
Took my jeweler friend's dog for a ride yesterday.  He is a huge german shepherd and doesn't get to go out much as he is not people-friendly.  But Tony and I get along famously.  Wouldn't have to worry about locking my car with Tony inside.  May pick him up today as well.  He is very obedient, so when you say lay down, he stops in his tracks and lays down.  Plus he doesn't try to drive either, which is good.
 

Funny you should mention a picture of you when you were 5, sister.

I fixed this one up of me on Christmas Eve when I was five and was going to post it in my section on Christmas. LOL



I am wearing my red and white striped flannel Christmas pajamas and holding a candle. I seem to be very careful with that flame, not allowing my eyes off of it, even to smile at the camera!

I cropped my sister and brother out of the image. They each have a candle and the same style pajamas.

Oh, heck, let me post that too LOL

One of these days I will learn how to post pictures.  I love your photo.  Such good memories.  In mine, the four of us are outside our grandmother's house, wearing coats, and mine was red with fur buttons (snaps underneath).  I remember it well, I loved the buttons so much.

So, got the first estimate on the truck - 4500 - blue books at not much over that so I fear they may total it - adjuster comes out on Wednesday. Happy Happy Joy Joy

One question that has been on my mind...... Do you get to mount the head of your four deer you have hit?

Just glad you and the little one didn't get hurt.

Totalled??? Wow!  Course my car would be totaled too -- in fact, I would probably owe them money.  Has 160,000 miles on it and runs so good and still looks good.

Found out that they give vaccinations that are 1/2 price at the vet on Wednesdays between 10 and 2!!! So Patton has an appointment between 10 and 2 at the vet. Trying to save all the $$$$$$ I can.

i could have mounted it but since it was a doe I saw no reason - if it had horns I would have gotten the sawsall out and cut that head right off!

My nieces came over tonight to see the tree and had to check it out - the best part for them - the deer poop on the side of the car! Kids what can you say.

That makes sense TBM, no need to mount doe. If it had a rack I would do the same thing.  Deer poop on the side of the car. Kids say the darndest things.

That is mine - it has 170000 on it but I am hoping the 4 wheel drive and the overall condition saves it. I am not looking forward to having a car payment if they total it . . .

Geez, JSM we are less than 40 miles NW of you and looks as if were going to have a white Christmas eve up here......Really would rather send it your way, leastwise you live in -a road clearing city -  its every man for himself here! 

 I'm sure we'll make the news tomorrow, reporter standing on the hill above Wallymart pointing to all the Frwy pile-ups as the trucks slide down the hill........

Hope any snow you get will not inconvenience you much!

Hopefully it will melt off quickly, Brandi.  I just don't even attempt to drive especially when its cold enough to ice over, they are saying only a few inches so shouldn't last too long.

I'm a sissy raised So.Cal girl so watching out my window is just fine with me!  My sister was rubbing it in last night, supposed to be in the 80's out there over the weekend.  although I don't at all miss those Santana winds that go along with the heat.

Babskats, I'm that person who goes 20 mph and people swear I need to get off the road.  Knuckles white, the whole thing.  Bottom line, if someone needs me they can come fetch me.
