Hope everyone is having a great after holiday season.

I am so sick and tired of seeing stories on the news about murder suicide. Why kill your kids, wife and family members then kill yourself? I just don't understand. Especially at Christmas.    So sad and horribly tragic.

I know JSM  It seems everyday we are hearing more and more of these. It's so sad.  May the family rest in Peace.

It does seem to happen more and more. I pray for the family and friends of the family and kids.

I know you are right Klaas. I know these things have be happening from the beginning. It just seems like everyday we hear about family killing family and people being taken and killed. It's the children that are the hardest to handle. With the instant access we have now days. Yes we hear about them right away and from all over not just the areas we live in. I know there are many more loving caring people than these evil sick people. It just makes me so sad and appreciate my family and friends and everyone here on SM that much more.

Good afternoon friends.  Had a wonderful Christmas and our family gathering was Monday.  Saw my brother and other family members from Baltimore -- it was a house full hosted by my sister Rose and her husband.  The only down side was Connie has been sick since Christmas morning.  Have been spending time with her (hope I don't get sick) and she finally felt like opening her presents yesterday afternoon.  Headed back her way on Friday and truly hope by then she is feeling better.
Glad to read everyone had a joyous holiday.
One more Christmas gathering this coming Saturday morning -- a brunch -- so some preparation needed for that.  Otherwise, the hustle and bustle has waned -- now to just enjoy!

  Sister I am so glad you had an enjoyable Christmas with your family from Balitmore. So sorry that Connie was sick, glad she is feeling a bit better. Prayers she gets better soon and you don't get it. You are such a great sister and friend. God Bless you Sister.
