Whatever happened to the time between summer and winter when you could have no a/c on, no furnace on and windows open, and enjoy it!?

You made it a good series.

Sorry you lost.

  Was good series, one of the best in a long time. Wish they wouldn't let the All Star Game winner be the determine which League gets home field advantage. I really think the team with the best record should get home field advantage, thus Texas would have had it not St Louis.

Not making excuses, but just an observation. Rangers did great and I am very proud of them and thank all of you monkeys for rooting for them.

Afternoon monkeys, couldn't stay up to watch the end of the game. Woke up when they were awarding the trophies. Fell back asleep and woke up at 3 am  finally fell back again with the alarm going off. Drug my butt out of the bed, got ready to go skate. After skating went and ate with a friend, then my mom called and asked if I wanted to go to lunch, so I ate again    then went to the PetLodge to pay a bit of Josef's bill and see the girls. Most weren't there so I was very sad.  The one girl checking me out, still when she sees me tears up and asks how I am doing. I tell her the truth, not very good, but holding up. She started crying. I left there feeling so lonely. If I had my golf shoes with me, I would have gone to the drving range to knock around some balls and take out frustration.

Anyways, I am supposed to be happy because my new iphone comes in on Monday. Okay enough of my pity party         

There I feel better. Have a great evening monkeys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JSM It's too bad you didn't have your golf shoes with you, because it probably would have done you a world of good to hit a few balls.  I think it's only natural and to be expected for you to feel down when you go by Pet Lodge because it evokes so many memories of your time with Josef.  It doesn't mean it feels good, but it means you are working through your grief and that's important.  I don't think of you as having a pity party, because to me when you explained how you're feeling, it's real and it's pain and you acknowledge that.  You were honest with the girl when she asked you how you're doing and you answered not very good but you are holding up.  It's part of healing.  You aren't denying the pain in your heart for you loved Josef so much.  You're learning to live without Josef, yet you are holding him dear in memory.  Grief comes in waves I've found.  Sort of like the tide.  It comes in and goes back out.  You're doing good JSM.  Give yourself time. 

I'll bet you're gonna love your new iphone.

Muffy, thank you for understanding. I am trying to work through my grief, but I have never been through grief that hurts this bad. Like you said comes in waves. Thank you for saying I am doing good, I thought I was but when I left today the memories of 10 years of him in the playroom flooded back to me and I couldn't take him home. He is home with me, so I kissed him as soon as I walked in the door. Gonna put my old golf shoes in the car and next time I will be able to go hit the crap outta the golf balls. Or if I was in Florida I would do this...   

  Thank you again Muffy for understanding, thought it was gonna be easier, but it hit me today that it isn't.
