Going out to dinner with my Cub and his Speech Therapist.  Enjoy the game.  I will be catching it somewhere.  I just might pop in to see my Dad.  Gosh, I miss him.

I did and then all heck broke loose around here.  Snow, snow, and snow.  Many had power and water outages.

I was worried about you this weekend. Hope you didn't have power outage. Did you get to see your dad?

I am sorry I worried you.  My power did not go out, but many lost power and water.  Some schools are off for this whole week.

  Don't be sorry, I just heard that the storm was coming your way. Glad your power didn't go out. Too early for snow storms like that.

Went to a dollar-type store this evening and they had some Beanie Babies for $4.99 and i just had to get this lil guy.

He is so soft!

Never bought a Beanie baby before.

Now I am pissed. I listen to my sister made the 911 call the other night. She clearly said he was trying to break in and that I had him at gun point - but they dispatched it as a "drunk making noise" so they charged him with nothing. My brother knows one of the local state boys and he was working that night and heard the call. This after we found out that he almost kicked the multiple 5 inch screws out of the studs where my brother had boarded the door up (it is an old door to the basement and utility room that she does not use). What a crock. People wonder why there is a distrust of the police protecting you from the bad guys. Apparently they sent a LEO from Bay City  - which is an HOUR from our house - really? there was no one closer?  I am requesting the 911 call transcript. My sister is disappointed that the police did not take her seriously. I am pizzed I had to almost shoot a guy and the cops blew it off.     

    That is awful TBM, I hope you get a transcript and you and your sister can do something about this. Heck, I would be calling all the local media and let them know what went on, maybe some heads would roll in the police/dispatch department. Seriously, I wish you would have shot the tires out so he couldn't get away.

People who are good citizens and play by the rules often get the short end of the stick.Now I would be worried he might come back and really feel empowered. 

I just contacted my friend that works for local media. My sister never wanted to ruin this kid's life but the entire thing is BS and people should know!

Morning Cookie. Heard on the news this morning there may be additional charges on Sifuentes, if so, maybe they can charge him with capital murder of Jasmen. Just thought you would like to  know that. They had a vigil for her in Carrollton last night.

I am so sorry.  I cannot imagine your frustration.  What a crock.  Someone could have been hurt or killed during this incident.  I would not want to have gotten the message, "Monkey down."  Makes me very angry.  Thank God you are still here with us.

Sometimes when we don't take time for ourselves, our friends, through prayer or with other help, make sure we do it.  If I need to look at a good point of the storm, it kept me in and resting.

I spent some time on the deck outside today in shorts.

To try to get into the coming wintery spirit, I worked on a couple of reindeer today that you all might recognize
