I hope you monkeys are staying warm. I have a sweatshirt on, flannel jammies and my Uggs on and still am shivering even with the heater running. I guess with our summer with 100 degree temps for months have made me not use to the cold.

Josef loved this kind of weather, me not so much. Wish he was here so I could walk him in the cold, if he was I wouldn't complain a bit.

I understand . . . have been feeling very lonely myself.

Prayers to Sister and JSM on their losses. Today would have been Paul's and my 45th wedding anniversary and I'm trying to be thankful for the years we got to share. Remembering all the good and crazy times we had together. He was the best.

Sitting here eating my comfort food -- hamburger and gravy over creamed mashed potatoes.  My mother used to make it when I was a child.
When I am sad, I become very quiet -- when I am stressed Nordie was my comfort boy.  I am stressed tonight -- a funeral of a father and son tomorrow and we have a huge Veterans Day service on Sunday -- bagpipes, trumpet, etc.
But this too shall pass.
