Thanks Can, it did. No more injections, but I have to do physical therapy. Told them I could only do it once a week because it is a horrible drive during the day. He told me I couldn't skate, yeah right still skating

Can, thank you for asking.  The funeral went very well and I am so grateful the sun was shining.
Our Veterans Day service was awesome.  Lots of people help to make the day so special for our living and deceased veterans.  We do part of the service outside wherewe dedicated a memorial stone for all vets.  The trumpet (with my nephew playing) with Taps, the bagpipes with Amazing Grace, etc. just made in an incredible morning.

The veterans day service sounds beautiful Sister, I would have loved to have been there to see it. Glad they funeral went well and sun was shining. So very sad.

Another earthquake in Oklahoma last night, I felt it again. At least this time I knew that my bed wasn't possesed when it started shaking back and forth.

To get insurance here because of the dogs, I have to have signs on the fence and gate warning there are LGDs on the property as well as having the property posted and no trespassing signs. If they ignore all this the dogs can eat them.
Skeeter gets her stitches out at 2:00 and may drop by the groomer to see what can be done to spiff her up.

Talking about signs.......along with the no trespassing,now I have one that says No  Parking..Stupidity is not a handicap.

Can...I leave for Florida tomorrow...Key West on Thursday..hubs and I are driving down there from Orlando..big boat races in the Keys going on..there are 4 other couples joining us..My son and daughter in law are flying down there on Friday..should be a lot of fun! I love the Keys!
I will have my Ipad so I will keep in touch ...hubs has Ipad 2 so I may take some photos and with Brandi's help, post them on here...

Howdy Monkeys!

Just wanted to say that for those who have trouble with large dogs (or small for that matter) on a leash, I have the Easy Walk harness and it works wonders!  You can buy it at most pet stores.  It hooks to there chest and prevents them from pulling you since it basically turns them around.  I wont use a choke collar and nothing else worked except this.  It is safe and works great on Leroy. 

JSM - you would love a German Shepherd.  Funny enough Leroy has a new neighbor that is the same breed as Joe and they are best friends...through the fence of course!!!  Leroy is teaching Lola all kinds of bad tricks  LOL

I am turning green with envy . . . Key West is my favorite place.  Before my sister Connie got sick, we would go at least once a year if not twice.  I can really relax there.  God willing, I will take her again next summer.

Muffy,the time change really affected hubby.He doesn't like anyone to mess with "his" tv in the living room........he was running around the house last night complaining about DWTS staying on so long and running Castle behind schedule.  Guess his time didn't get changed on that tv.

    I was just reading the Grand Jury Report, I am absolutely appalled at what that man did to those boys and no one called authorities. I haven't finished reading, but I couldn't eat my lunch after page four or five.
