Howdy Monkeys!

Just wanted to say that for those who have trouble with large dogs (or small for that matter) on a leash, I have the Easy Walk harness and it works wonders!  You can buy it at most pet stores.  It hooks to there chest and prevents them from pulling you since it basically turns them around.  I wont use a choke collar and nothing else worked except this.  It is safe and works great on Leroy. 

JSM - you would love a German Shepherd.  Funny enough Leroy has a new neighbor that is the same breed as Joe and they are best friends...through the fence of course!!!  Leroy is teaching Lola all kinds of bad tricks  LOL

Thanks for posting the pic.  That is the exact one I have for Leroy.  He is a different dog without it on...its crazy!

I am so wrapped up in this whole "living the dream" as they say that I cant be here like I used to.  Hoping that changes soon....miss you all

I have seen those harnesses, glad they work for Leroy. I would love to foster that German Shepherd, but the apartments won't let me. How wonderful Leroy has a friend like Josef, and he is teaching her bad tricks. Miss you Leroy, please post more often

Prayers to Sister and JSM on their losses. Today would have been Paul's and my 45th wedding anniversary and I'm trying to be thankful for the years we got to share. Remembering all the good and crazy times we had together. He was the best.

Another earthquake in Oklahoma last night, I felt it again. At least this time I knew that my bed wasn't possesed when it started shaking back and forth.

Can, thank you for asking.  The funeral went very well and I am so grateful the sun was shining.
Our Veterans Day service was awesome.  Lots of people help to make the day so special for our living and deceased veterans.  We do part of the service outside wherewe dedicated a memorial stone for all vets.  The trumpet (with my nephew playing) with Taps, the bagpipes with Amazing Grace, etc. just made in an incredible morning.

YW Sister.  Your Veterans Days service sounds as though it was wonderful.  The Taps always gives me goose bumps, bagpipes too, and Amazing Grace, one of my favorites!  Not a wonder it was an incredible morning.  I'm glad for you Sister.  p. s. - bet you're proud of that nephew of yours.

  Hi Can, I love Pipers and especially when the play Amazing Grace. Taps always makes me cry and ever since I was a kid the Star Spangled Banner made me cry. Don't know why. I will say I love Oh Canada, I only know a few words to it so I make up my own.    Nice words, nothing bad.

Thanks Can, it did. No more injections, but I have to do physical therapy. Told them I could only do it once a week because it is a horrible drive during the day. He told me I couldn't skate, yeah right still skating

Hurray, no more injections!  Physical therapy, a nasty but necessary evil.  Hope it doesn't require too many trip.  Do you have to drive through busy city traffic?

Can...I leave for Florida tomorrow...Key West on Thursday..hubs and I are driving down there from Orlando..big boat races in the Keys going on..there are 4 other couples joining us..My son and daughter in law are flying down there on Friday..should be a lot of fun! I love the Keys!
I will have my Ipad so I will keep in touch ...hubs has Ipad 2 so I may take some photos and with Brandi's help, post them on here...

I am turning green with envy . . . Key West is my favorite place.  Before my sister Connie got sick, we would go at least once a year if not twice.  I can really relax there.  God willing, I will take her again next summer.
