Can, thank you for asking.  The funeral went very well and I am so grateful the sun was shining.
Our Veterans Day service was awesome.  Lots of people help to make the day so special for our living and deceased veterans.  We do part of the service outside wherewe dedicated a memorial stone for all vets.  The trumpet (with my nephew playing) with Taps, the bagpipes with Amazing Grace, etc. just made in an incredible morning.

YW Sister.  Your Veterans Days service sounds as though it was wonderful.  The Taps always gives me goose bumps, bagpipes too, and Amazing Grace, one of my favorites!  Not a wonder it was an incredible morning.  I'm glad for you Sister.  p. s. - bet you're proud of that nephew of yours.

Can, I have six nephews (not a neice in the bunch!) and I am proud of all of them.  They have loving parents who taught them so well.  I am the favorite Auntie who spoiled them and played outside with them.  But I must say, I am glad I don't have to go out in the cold and watch them play in the marching bands.  I did if faithfully for years, but of that I am delighted I don't have to do anymore.

Wow 6 nephews, I bet you are the favorite Auntie you are so wonderful Sister.

Spent the day with my Mom today doing lovely girly things.  Tired and will call it a night here.  Going to watch DWT and expect to see Nancy get the boot tonight.  Think she has been a great sport!

busy day today..got my hair cut ....short..

I read everyone's posts..sorry that some are still grieving over their pets..it takes time to get over such a loss..
right now  my old dog keeps farting really stinky farts! what is it with old dogs and old people that make them fart so much??? My 90 yr old MIL farts so long and loud...she calls them fluffies...they aren't so fluffy to me! lol...

Have a safe trip, jealous you cut your hair short. Benji is having stinky farts? I don't know but I am rolling on the floor about your MIL and her fluffies.

we were at a nice restaurant on Sunday night to celebrate her 90th birthday..I took her to the bathroom and she was farting so much! I was in the stall next to her and I said, is that you cause I didn't want the women waiting in line to think that it was me! Then I came out and a young girl said to me very seriuosly..is she alright? does she need some water or something?? I was laughing so hard

OMG COOKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are bringing tears to mine and my coworkes eyes when I read this out loud. You asking if she was alright so they didn't think it was you. COOKIE you just brought a load of joy into my my workplace today. Thank you.

She was hard of hearing and I guess just didn't know that her fluffies weren't silent. She would be in public walking just toot, toot, tooting away, not knowing she was doing it.

Very busy day at work, and of course our dictation is down so everything from yesterday cannot be transcribed until the man gets here to fix it.      So I am sitting here with nothing to do.

Granddaughter  lost a friend from school in an auto accident over the weekend.Mass will be this morning.
Please say a little prayer for the family and young people who will need much strength today. 

  Just said a prayer for the family, your grandaughter and friends. Very sad to lose young ones.

The girl was a cheerleader,and her brother is on the football team.Can you imagine,they both go to the game and only one came home.It is so sad.
Thanks for the prayer.

OMGosh, cookie, that is so funny.  My late M-i-l was almost completely deaf AND had digestive issues.  She'd be tooting up a storm and not hear herself and think no one else was hearing it either.

As a nurse who used to ambulate older patients after surgery, tooting was a good thing....lol.

Heading South later this week...Looking forward to a party for my 90 year old aunt....wonder how many tooters will be there...!
