Can.... I have missed you monkeys and yes I did skate. We were a transcriptionist short again this week and was slammed with reports by the time I got home, my fingers couldn't even type and my eyes were crossed.

I had a great lunch today with Babs and Greeneyes after skating. It was so much fun, wish more monkeys could get together like that.

Then I went to the PetLodge and talked to the girls, played with a dog named Rocket, then paid some more $$ down on Josef.

Soon I think I will be ready for another dog, just not yet.

Aww JSM - you are so sweet.  glad you got to skate today.  Just been lurking alot lately.  still caretaking my Dad.  I know I am lucky to have both my parents still - but it is still stressful watching them with health issues.  we must all count our blessings each day.  Watching the monkeys has kept my sanity (what is left).

New Macy's Parade Balloons and Floats for 2011
For the 85th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, some spectacular new balloons will take to the skies over New York City. New balloons will include filmmaker Tim Burton's lonely balloon boy, Paul Frank’s Julius the sock monkey (complete with jet pack), Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog (returning to the parade after a debut in 1993), and the Aflac Duck.

Returning balloons will include Buzz Lightyear, Clumsy Smurf, Diary of A Wimpy Kid,Hello Kitty, Kermit the Frog, Kung Fu Panda™, Pikachu, Pillsbury Doughboy®, Ronald McDonald®, Sailor Mickey, Snoopy the Flying Ace, Spider-Man® and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Waiting to see the hunters off.  Its my son first morning hunt.  He's so excited.  He's already walked outside andseen two does in the cornfield.

Going to be an exciting time today! 

lol. That exactly how he looked.  My daddy is taking him. I hope they don't fall out of the tree.  My son has asked a dozen times about how long it will take to make the deer jerky.  Lol. That's all he wants.  Something to eat.  How like a guy.

How are you trimm?   I hope your having a nice morning.

   Although my husband wont shoot deer, several of his friends do.  We have lots of deer meat.
How do you prepare deer jerky?  tia. 

I've not had to yet.  My brothers and daddy use a dehydrator and 'special' spices.  lol  They have one type they call Girl's Jerky and one they call Man's Jerky.   Both are spicy but the MJ will burn your stomach lining off. 

My son didn't see one while hunting, but we almost creamed 3 on the drive home.
