I would be have a hard time not to spend what I made at a Jewelry store.  You are a wonderful daughter to help your mom with the cost of her medication.  Sorry you had another sleepless night missing your Nordie. Wow that's a long choir practice.

Trimm Glad you survived your shopping trip with your mom and sister. Sorry you didn't get the boots you wanted.

Cookie hope you are feeling better from your trip to CC. It's sad to see so many young children have no regard for any one or any thing.

seriously..I am over the Chuckie C. thing..except now in our local paper it says that an employee there was fired because he is a registered sex offender..he has worked there for 10 yrs..He apparently offended before he came to work there...I thought that they could not work around children???  WTH! so then I had to tell my story on Facebook cause that is where I found out about the Chuckie Cheese sex offender!

  Sex offender at Chuckie Cheese????? So much for background checks. 

Have a safe trip tomorrow Cookie. Enjoy your time in Texas. I wish you were coming to DFW.  I know three monkeys that would be at the airport for coffee.

What a morning.Lawyers met with the judge,then they came out to the property and took pictures and kept us all separated.  No trial this week,it is set for March.
At some point you have to laugh at some of the things you hear.I am more right about these people than even I imagined. 
Gotta catch up on my reading now.don't work to hard. 

I have been praying all morning that the day went well. If they are as bat azz crazy as you thought yikes. We have new neighbors moving in and my first thought was please don't let them be like Trimms.

Been awake since 2:30 this morning.I am about to crash.Gotta go shopping with my mom and sister in the morning.Give me strength.

For those that don't know the donks' history...They were severely abused by men and don't trust men and can be very aggressive if I'm not there. They have learned that I won't let anything bad happen if I'm with them. These idiots climbed the fence and didn't get permission to be on the property or I would have stopped them going near the donks. They had a rope with them and Cappy was used for roping practice and is terrified of ropes. The vet and farrier never use a halter and lead with him, I just stand there and he pushes his forehead against me and I rub his ears and they can do anything to him. These guys are very lucky nothing happened to them. I told them if they came on the property again without permission I would let the dogs out. They also had a gun and I took it from them because they aren't going to shoot goats on my property(or dogs or donks). As it stands now I won't allow them on the property. When they left the property I returned their gun and told them if this ever happened again I would have them trespassed and further more they were Not capable of roping a da*ned fence post so forget it. I imagine I will get a call from LE about goat stealing...Oh well 

You are an amazing woman!  Any time I hear this story about your Donks or any animal being abused, it makes me sick.  How can people be so cruel?

Just got a call and the sheriff is down at the gate.......get the bail money collection started.

Yeppers they wanted me arrested for stealing their goats.
They forgot to mention that I was the one that called them to tell them their goats were on my property and that I allowed them on the property 3 times to get their goats back. They also neglected to mention that this time they didn't get permission but climbed over the gate (trespassing). I explained to the deputy that I admitted disarming them but the gun was returned to them when I escorted them off of the property.The deputy asked if they volunteered the gun and they admitted that I was 10 feet from them with a shot gun aimed at them and they felt threatened. The deputy explained that I have the right to protect my property, livestock and person if I feel threatened.They were furious because I made them walk down the driveway while I followed in the truck and wouldn't open the gate but made them climb back over it. So they were trespassed and if it happens again they will go to jail and if anything happens to my animals or property the deputy will be knocking on their door. I told the deputy he was more than welcome to remove the goats from my property and he just laughed. I will be carrying the shotgun with me for the foreseeable future. I went back up to calm the donks and when I entered their pasture they surrounded me heads in butts out in their protective stance (of course Hobbs was going through my pockets) I just feel so responsible for them...hope I did the right thing.

I am so sorry this happened to you and the donks.  You knock my socks off, I admire you so.

OMG  next installment of the runaway goats.

They ended up in the donk's pasture and the donks were guarding them and wouldn't let the men in the pasture. They came and got me but it was too late the goats ran into the woods. As it now stands I have either 3 or 6 goats roaming the property and the owner was unable to catch them. At one point they tried to lasso one and I thought I would die laughing...sooo funny. The goats are raised to sell for meat and are totally unsocialized so won't come near people and these guys are just idiots. 

If I was a goat raised to sell as meat I would run to the woods too.  Men trying to lasso a goat??? I wish I could see that.

I would expect to see the men roped and tied up with the donks standing over them, while they rooted through the men's pockets.  Good thing Hobbs didn't shoot them!  They are lucky they got out alive, they should come groveling, asking for forgiveness.  No wonder the goats got away.  Hope they don't take it out on the remaining goats.

How's your cub?  Is he looking forward to Christmas?     

My Parents are still having health problems and still need prayers.

My son is excited about Christmas, but his best friend and her twin now live in Cali and he misses them.  He is still looking forward to the Christmas Holidays though.

You and your parents are in my prayers Bearly. Sorry about Cubby's friend moving away and him missing them. Glad he is looking forward to the Holidays. 

Thanks, JSM.  They were very popular girls, so losing his two best friends was tough for him in lots of ways. 

One thing, everywhere I go, his classmates tell me what a nice kid he is.  Salespeople also stop me to tell me how polite he is.  People tell me that they met him X amount of years ago once and that he never forgets a name, he remembered them years later.  I am so thankful for his character.

I hope the girls still keep in touch with Cubby. He is a special child, given to you as a blessing and it is wonderful that others realize how special and wonderful he is.

They text every day, but it's not the same.  Just ask CC.
