The Dogs of The Lord

Easywriter brings:  "...There seems to be a real dichotomy on the island. At what point in time and what significant happening caused that discourse is not known to me, but there are some extreme mindsets. A moral clash between hard core Catholicism (with all its idiosyncrasies) and the complete failure of moral obligation lingers throughout..."

YES!

Your comment directed towards Aruban societal failures, I presume.  Animated by the meeting of Evangelicals w/ Catholics, upon HT Family arrival, which resulted in failure.  Why?

The idosyncracy of devout Catholicism is misunderstood by so many, and births behaviors unimagined by those that view.  The demands of God, as spoken through Catholicism, and its strictist orders: Jesu --the dogs of the Lord -- are goals to be learned and "hoped for."  Penance is sacremental cul de sac for failed effort: who can achieve such a calling?

A "peaceful man" could not win in the environment proscribed.  Because it is not about "peace" -- it is about "winning".

Dutchlady was right -- so right -- about this very important part, which could have changed much very early had the depravity been acknowledged.  T'is not the Church, just the sinners who walk there.

They fail to achieve minimal standards, as do we all.  Where does failure mean "inhuman" -- where does failure mean "noble defeat" -- where does failure mean ...

Dave should have never shook his hand.  Never.

But has that thought ever occurred to you before?  I know I am probably the last one to make that connection... but when I read your chart, it became so clear...

Yes, it's occurred to me but unfortunately how do we prove anything?

just like with it all... we can't... but it makes total sense now....

I just didn't "see" it until the chart.... or didn't know that I saw it if that makes sense.... I guess I literally need to be drawn a picture... Laughing

I am a picture person myself.  Love to do pictoral charts for the clarity..can you tell, lol  Laughing

translation todays diario aruba front page

Innocent 16 yr old female raped by man and then by schoolmates:
word has come to the paper that a group of males student aged from the same school as the victem had been loitering around .

this crime is considered to be punishable and condemming by law.
thee innocent 16 yr old Virgen was accosted by many from within her own class and school.
This was a forced act of violence agaisnt this child and she was raped anally and vaginally.
What makes this crime more sickening is that many of the male students used thier cameras on thier cellphones to record the act.
By midday the photos were circulated to other males via cellphones.
The family of the girl wishing to protect her is not wanting to go to the polis in order to protect her identity further and prevent her from bieng marked as a raped female within the community. She has been thru a horrific ordeal and they dont wish to upset her more. They will seek professional help for her but are fearing to go to the polis.
the photos continue to be distributed via MMS now more than ever diario has found out.
The family upon learning this has decided the girl will not return to school in august and instead they are looking to send her off the island with other family abroad.
Diario is supplicating to the family to protect the girl and press charges annonymously so that these group will not get away with this crime so that they may be brought to justice and not have a chance to do this to another female.
The author of the article states he cannot believe what is happening to the islands youth today.  He says the goverment and the judicial branches of Arube must take a firm stance against this behavior, and prosecute these thugs.
In another case he sites that a roaming group of youngsters have terrorised an entire area in Cas Palamos.  In that case polis did nothing to disband this disruptive group of young males.
In yet another case last night polis did stop a group of youngsters who were out of control after leaving a concert for the band called of the highway in area of Boegoereio. while awaiting the arrival of more polis to the scene the youths scattered in different direction.
Diario is asking that the photos circulating in JPG form via MMs cellul;ar co be removed from airwaves. If not they risk falling as accomplices to the actions of these rapists.

Best ranslation I could do.  Sandy Leiva

Mrs Red-

Thank you, and you don't need pictures, Klaas just made the moving objects stop moving. I honestly think the double-talk has continued for so long at such a high frequency, that it's impossible to build a sequential model of this case.

Kudos to Klaas, we just needed those fine lines to stop moving !  Laughing

Rest well Mrs R !!

Aruban Investigation: Paulus Van der Sloot Pulling in the Favors

(Nice job Klaas Wink

Lets remember what Gerold Dompig had to say anout Paulus:

Troy Roberts (CBS): Do you believe Paulus Van Der Sloot knows more than he has been telling?
Gerold Dompig: Yes I Do…

Klaasend - you rock!   I knew you were up to something when I saw the post about sending something to Red to verify  Wink

I wonder who is at the top of the chain and who is supplying the favors - Dompig and Jacobs are lower in the chain.  Smells like Mr. O to me.

Not sure if he means and older man, like a teacher or simply an 18yr old?

Great question!! I have certainly wondered that as well. Back in the early RWV days there were a couple of posters that purported to have grown-up on Aruba that now live in the U.S.  Although I had a few suspicions of their veracity (I thought it was only ONE poster) -- they talked of an "innocent" upbringing in the "company town" of the refinery in the 60's. When did Aruba become a tourist destination? To be frank, until about 4-5 years ago -- I didn't even know where Aruba was! I kind of thought it might be near Spain or something (maybe off the coast of Africa.)
When did Aruba become an island of vice? Was it when the Casinos and "off-shore" gambling enter? Did it start with drug trafficing in the 70's?  I just don't have a feel for it!

The most I knew about Aruba was it was a tropical island and that it was mentioned in a song!  Was it Barry Manilow?
