Attorney in dispute with baby Lisa's Dad in legal hot water

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A Kansas City attorney is facing a judge's wrath after she apparently allowed her client's twin brother to impersonate him during a court hearing.

Jackson County prosecutors want criminal defense attorney Dorothy Savory held in contempt of court and removed from the case, according to court documents. She also likely will be reported to the Missouri Bar Association.

Savory is representing Rasleen Raim in a different case. Raim is suing her former boyfriend, Jeremy Irwin, in a custody dispute over their 9-year-old son.
 ::snipping2::
When the switcheroo became apparent, Savory noted she was recording the hearing with her own recorder and appeared mystified that her conduct was in doubt, according to the Kansas City Star.

A Christmas without Baby Lisa
By Stephen Loiaconi
updated 4:57 PM EST, Mon December 26, 2011

Lisa Irwin should have celebrated her first birthday in November. She should be in the arms of her loved ones today as they decorate her house and prepare for the holidays.

But she's not.

Lisa's parents reported her missing in the early hours of October 4 and she has not been seen since. They claimed she disappeared from her crib in their Kansas City home after her mother put her to sleep around 6:40 the previous night.

Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, spent several hours drinking with a neighbor that night and did not recall checking on her again after that point, while Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, was at work overnight. They told police that when he returned home around 4 a.m., one of the windows was tampered with and the front door was unlocked.

Lisa Irwin Missing

Baby Lisa Irwin disappeared from her northern Kansas City home sometime in the overnight hours of Oct. 3 into Oct. 4. The baby's mother, Deborah Bradley, admitted to being drunk and passed out the night Lisa disappeared. Months later, there has been no sign the case has been solved.

Over 1,200 leads and tips have been followed. Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, came home at 4 a.m. after working an overnight shift as an electrician to find his daughter missing from her crib. A $100,000 reward has been offered by an anonymous donor for information in the case leading to the discovery of Lisa's whereabouts.

Eleven Most Intriguing Missing Persons Cases of 2011
By LAUREN EFFRON (@LEffron831) and MARK MOONEY
Dec. 30, 2011

Few things pique the human curiosity, suspicion and fear like the realization that someone has disappeared, particularly if the person is a small child.

In 2011, several cases captured the nation's attention, including the disappearances of infant baby Lisa Irwin in Missouri and toddler Sky Metalwala in Washington, along with adults like Robyn Gardner, who vanished in Aruba.

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Three months ago, Debbie Bradley said she put her ill daughter in her crib so that she could sleep.

Since then, 10-month-old Lisa Irwin hasn't been seen.

But a Kansas City attorney for Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, the baby's father, said Tuesday that there is new information in the search for the baby whose first birthday was in November.

The family's local attorney, John Picerno, said investigators have several new leads and said one is very promising.

The attorney said both the FBI and Kansas City police have this information. He declined to elaborate or provide additional details.

Kansas City police did not comment publicly Tuesday on Picerno's comments.

Isn't unethical and a little cruel to gin up speculation about additional information when there really isn't any?

And (BBM) it's also cruel and unethical when the defense fabricates "several new leads" as we have seen happen in case after case.  I still can't figure out why this isn't considered tampering.

Missing Baby Lisa Irwin Timeline: Where is 1-Year-Old After 3 Months?
By IBTimes Staff Reporter: Subscribe to IBTimes's RSS feed
January 6, 2012 5:13 PM EST

Lisa Irwin has been missing for three months since her mysterious disappearance on Oct. 4. The 1-year-old's parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, continue to maintain that baby Lisa disappeared from their home nearly a month ago.

Her family's Kansas City attorney, John Picerno, said in a statement Tuesday that authorities have new information regarding missing baby Lisa Irwin. However, police insist that after following hundreds of leads, there are still no major suspects, and tips have started to dry up.

Investigators closed an outpost dedicated exclusively to solving baby Lisa's case and authorities have now returned to their main offices in Kansas City. Although Kansas City Police Capt. Steve Young insists the case is not closed, investigators have been encouraged to take on new cases due to a pile-up of child neglect and abuse cases. Young claims there are not enough resources to focus wholly on baby Lisa Irwin, especially as police have received fewer tips in the past few weeks compared with the previous several weeks.

I find it difficult to believe that these people may have committed the PERFECT ?? crime !
I have yet to hear 1 intelligent word from their mouths,
and their lack of pleas for her safe return tell me who did this.

I would agree with you about "the perfect crime" had I not thought the same thing about Haleigh Dunn and Haley Cummings disappearances.  Sometimes stupid people are just plain lucky.

Well if these kind of ppl watch csi shows and following past real crimes that have already gotten away with murder all they have to do is copy what the murders did to confuse an investigation to get away with it.

http://www.nbcactionnews.com/dpp/news/region_missouri/northland/Months-after-disappearance-volunteers-launch-new-search-for-Lisa-Irwin

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - More than three months after baby Lisa Irwin disappeared, volunteers launched a new search for missing girl Sunday morning.

The search is ongoing near Parvin Road and Brighton.  The area was searched in 2011, after Irwin’s disappearance.

Police have not conducted a major search effort since mid-November.

About 10-15 volunteers assembled Sunday morning for the search.
 ::snipping2::
Irwin’s mother, Deborah Bradley, has failed two separate lie detector tests.

BBM They are talking about a baby FGS  , you call her Lisa or Baby Lisa or even The Baby.. you don't call her by her last name.  Most of the press should be in another field of work, perhaps as guards on an island reserved for those who commit crimes against children.
