Let's think positive.
Dr. Phil can really zero in on people. May talk to LE after the show is tapped and give them his assessment.
Plus they might just mess up...fingers crossed...
 

I can't imagine ever wanting to be on a television show, especially if I was carrying around the baggage that DB and JI were.  I guess I am just too private a person to want to show my dirty laundry to the world.

Hello monkies!  At work today I glanced at the TV and saw Baby Lisa's face and thought perhaps she had been found.  I was disgusted to see that the story was about the upcoming Dr. Phil show.  Then I watched HLN's synopsis of the case and saw with a fresh mind and eyes all the strange circumstances of the case up until now.  One thing I saw that I didn't notice before was the press conference with Tacopants and the parents in the background:  At one point he refers to Lisa's disappearance as their "loss" and then he briefly pauses as if he realized he shouldn't have said that.  So strange.

IMO, Dr. Phil is just in this for the rating$.  Too bad he can't disappear.

So is it safe to assume that this entire time the parents have NOT been looking for their baby?  That's how it appears to me.

The parents of missing baby Lisa Irwin have taped an appearance on the Dr. Phil Show that is expected to air next week, four months after they last saw her.

The show with Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin is scheduled to air Feb. 3, according to a lawyer for the family.

Early on in this case I mentioned that I didn't understand why the Metro Squad had not been called in.  In KC the Metro Squad is a multi-agency group of LEOs from various agencies on both sides of the state line.  They are called together for many reasons, maybe a lot of people to be interviewed, high profile, the originating agency is small, the case needs new eyes, etc.  They are used quite a bit and they are highly effective.  As I understand it, participation is on a loose or rotating basis so that not every department or agency will always have someone assigned to the squad, nor will it always be the same person assigned.  I imagine this is to help keep fresh eyes always available and it would tremendously aid their success rate.  There was a murder in a hotel room in Merriam, KS Friday morning, the metro squad was called out within 24 hrs, IIRC, and here is the result http://joco913.com/news/suspect-arrested-in-merriam-hotel-murder/

Why has the KCPD not utilized this ready and available resource?  It doesn't make any sense to me.

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A Kansas City police officer is sitting in a Northland parking lot when the initial call comes in at 4:04 a.m. Oct. 4.

A father has arrived home. He has found a busted front window and his 10-month-old daughter missing.

The officer flips on his lights and sirens and begins racing through streets to get to Jeremy Irwin and Debbie Bradley's home at 3620 N. Lister Ave.

The officer tells a dispatcher that his computer is malfunctioning and asks the dispatcher to repeat the information. The dispatcher says Irwin doesn't know how long that Lisa Irwin has been missing.

KCTV5 obtained two dashcam videos from the Kansas City Police Department on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, a source close to the situation reports that Debbie got a tattoo that she now regrets.  It’s a black ribbon on her forearm with one side of the ribbon reading Justice and the other side reading Lisa.  She now wears long sleeves to cover it up.  According to the source Debbie’s next door neighbors and drinking buddies, the Brandos, paid for the tattoo.  The source states the Irwins, including Jeremy, “are still looking for Lisa” (I don’t know what that means, I’ve not heard of any of them participating in searches, but maybe they are and I just haven’t heard)…but that Debbie is not and “she shows no interest”.  There’s no way for me to verify any of that information, but seems appropriate to share what someone close to the situation is reporting….after all, Debbie’s family has had no problem with someone “close to the situation” pushing timelines that make no sense out to media.

Debbie, on the other hand, is described by the source as “severe OCD/Bi-polar”.  According to the source Debbie has been instructed by one the lawyers on their team to not speak to the public because she blurts out inappropriate things (no kidding, we noticed).
