Authorities say the boy’s mother put the boy to bed last evening about 10:30 p.m. on the 7700 block of Clevedon.  When the mother woke up at 11 a.m. this morning the child was gone.

Updated 3:15: Police spokesman Rick Eckhardt says investigators have made contact with the father of the missing child, and detectives are questioning him.

AFFTON, Mo. (KMOX) – A SARAA Alert has been issued for a missing 1 year-old boy from Affton.

Police spokesman Rick Eckhardt says the mother tells police she put Tyler Dasher to bed last night at about 10:30 p.m. in the 7700 block of Clevedon and when she went to wake him up this morning at about 11:30, he was gone.

Tyler Dasher is described as:

    one year old white male,
    two feet tall,
    weighing about 20 pounds
    with blond hair
    and blue eyes.

He has a red birthmark on his left shoulder and four upper and four lower teeth.

Tyler Daniel Dasher, 18 months old, is missing.  He was put to bed last night in his home on the 7700 block of Clevedon in Affton, Missouri and was gone the next morning, according to STLtoday.

The mother said she overslept and when she woke up Tuesday morning to check on him, he was gone.

Tyler's mother and grandmother were the only adults in the house.  Tyler's father lives somewhere else. 

The boy was wearing light blue flannel pajamas, with a small sports print, as seen in picture. 

Tyler is about two feet tall and weighs 20 pounds.  He has four upper front teeth and four lower front teeth. 

"There is no way to explain how this child got out of his crib, out of his room and out of the house," said Officer Rick Eckhard of the St. Louis County Police Dept.

There was no sign of a break end.

Witnesses have told the police they saw a man walking along a nearby street with a child wrapped in a blue blanket, matching the one that is in Tyler's crib.  Tyler's blanket is missing.
Affton is about 250 miles or four hours away from Kansas City, Missouri where baby Lisa Irwin's home is.

The man is described as as a white male,  30's wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark sweat pants.

Police: Dead body of toddler boy found near Gravois and River Des Peres

KMOV) – Officials with St. Louis County police have confirmed that the dead body of a missing toddler boy been found.

Officials had just shut down Gravois Road at the River Des Peres  in an effort to narrow down the search for a missing 1-year-old boy that has turned up missing from a home in Affton, Missouri, just south of St. Louis city.  Authorities issued a SARAA Alert in order to spread the word on the little boy.

The child's name is Tyler Daniel Dasher, born in September of 2010.

They should be able to identity the baby fast.  He has a birth reddish mark on one of his shoulders.

This just pains my heart to no end.  Another innocent child murdered.  I remember when both of my boys were around a year old.  It's such a wonderful age.   I heard on one of the live videos that little Tyler was standing and just starting to walk.

The Mom appears to be very young., poor family. Little Tyler just celebrated his very first birthday
