FDA recalls bagged salad, romaine lettuce
November 19, 2011

A possible E-Coli contamination caused a recall for a brand of bagged salad in Texas.

The recall affects more than 5,000 Ready Pac bags of romaine lettuce and salad mixes. The Food and Drug administration issued the recall after a government test showed contamination.

All the recalled bagged salads have a sell-by date of Nov. 18. Here's a list of the specific products being recalled:
(List at link.  They are labeled Ready Pac, Safeway and Trader Joe's)
