Personally, I don't think IF Dale did something to Michelle, that he planned it.

I think Dale has a very short fuse and acts or reacts impulsively.

I think something (maybe just finding out about her relationship about Nate, or some other trigger occurred) and he lost control and hurt her on Thursday.

I really don't think he planned this out.

I think you're probably correct. I just keep thinking about his statement to Michelle, that she would get her's some day. That was a threat, imo. And he could have started planning from that time on.  These sickos make me think in devious ways. 

I think he said that when he got angry with her, probably on more than one occasion.

I think he verbally and physically and psychologically abused her. A lot.

I was just looking online at my divorce, which is final, we are divorced, but at the bottom of the page I noticed that there was a "Notice of Need for Redirection" I know that I did not file any motion, and as far as the ex is concerned, she didn't file any motions, could you just explain what that particular notice is, and who may have filed it?

It may be related to the child support in the case. If one party has a child support arrearage, that person's tax refund money (or other money that might come through the government) canbe redirected to the other spouse to reduce the arrearage.

After much searching - it appears that in FL if the person who is supposed to pay child support (Dale) is in arrears and it has been proven, the person who is to receive child support (Michelle) can petition to have the child support go through a "depository" which is handled by the state and they can "redirect" the child support payments to be made to the depository and the depository pays Michelle.

I searched and searched to find it in plain English....

The above would appear to be what is being discussed in these documents and I would think that is what it is. Dale was behind so now Michelle wanted the state to collect from him and pay her. She did not want to have to deal with it and I can't say I blame her. Since he was deliquent he could have lost his license, had his wages garnished, etc.


There are also redirection instructions for if the children were not living with either parents - like if Michelle gave temp custody to her parents - or if the court gave temp custody to a foster home as an example - the child support payments would be "redirected" to that person.

I'm so pissed off at Judge Turner for letting Dale keep the twins.  Michelle held 3 jobs to support her children and Dale had issues with partially supporting his two. He is no father figure in any respect, imo.  Yet he has a very nice condo and drives a nice truck, and I have the feeling he partied.  He could have, for the sake of supporting his children, lived a cheaper lifestyle. We see the choice Dale made.....Him first.   jmo

I am not a legal eagle, but I notice the Petitioner is Dale.

The Respondent is Michelle.

Doesn't this mean Dale is taking Michelle to court over this, not the other way around?

In the original case, Michelle would be the Petitioner & Dale the Respondent. During that case an order to determine paternity would have to be established bc they weren't married (also if Dale wanted that done first unless he waived it), then child support would be determined. It looks like he went into arrears, in which case Michelle could have filed a complaint with the div of child sup, but sometimes of it automatically comes out of the noncustodial parent's paycheck then once arrears start for nonpayment (due to being fired or loss of job, disability, change of job, etc) then their computer system could catch it. In this case it looks like maybe the reason for the Notice of Need for Redirection might be bc Dale was requesting a reduction, in which case he would be the Petitioner and Michelle the Respondent. I found this online to help us figure it out. I hope I'm thinking this out the right way...

Check this out... Michelle files complaint of non payment against Dale - iow he's in arrears on 5/4/2011. On 5/18/2011 Dale decides tp file a complaint against Michelle for the lost ring. How much ya wanna bet that if we go through all of Dale's court records thought the various places he live that we may fin a habitual pattern of using the court system to manipulate & bully his opponents? Dale shoulda been named Richard bc honestly I think THAT nickname would suit him better.

In 2003, around the time Smith was dishonorably discharged from the military, he filed a repeat violence case against a woman named Jill Van Mechelen. It is unknown what their relationship was.
 
In Sept. 2003 Smith apparently filed for a temporary injunction, and in Oct. 2003, Jill filed a motion to dismiss the injunction. In Nov. 2003 an order dismissing the final injunction was recorded.
 
In 2009, Michelle sought but was not granted a restraining order against Smith citing he’d thrown their children’s car seats on the ground, smashed out her passenger –side window, cussed at her while she was holding her then 15-month-old daughter, and yelled, “Your day is coming.”

I did notice yesterday when I was mapping the two searches, that the ATV search was a stone's throw from Hidden Oaks Elementary School.

When mapping out the search areas the other day, I was struck how close the ATV search was to the school and the Anthonys'. Note the distance key in upper left. Not far at all. So many of the same players from the Anthony case have also joined in Michelle's case.
