As of Tuesday, Curry has not been arrested and charged with any crime. However, the New York Daily News reports that child protective services are now involved

I saw this on some news site the other day..Daily Mail? and it showed the little girl's face and also the father's face...he looks like a gansta punk.
He should never have this child again ever without supervised visits...this is cruel and God only knows what he does to her at other times! idiot!

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago police say detectives are investigating a man who allegedly posted a photograph on Facebook that shows his daughter's hands, legs and mouth apparently bound with duct tape.

Department spokesman Officer Veejay Zala says the state's Department of Children and Family Services is also investigating.

Zala says the man apparently posted the photograph on his Facebook page, with the words, "This is wut happens wen my baby hits me back."

He says the photograph has since been removed but did not have any details about when it was removed or why. Nor did he have any details about the man.

I've created  a new thread and moved two posts from this thread to the new one.  I thought I was posting an update on this case, but since then, I've found it's a different case!!  The case in this thread involved one child and occurred in Chicago.  The new case I've posted in the new thread involves a toddler and an infant and occurred in Arizona:

Curry is in prison on $100,000 bond, currently charged with felony aggravated domestic abuse. A judge ruled Wednesday that he may not have contact with his 22-moth-old daughter or anyone else under the age of 18. Curry's lawyer says the internet has blown the whole story out of proportion. CNN writes:

    "The photo itself does not tell the story of who our client is and how well he takes care of this child," said [Curry's public defender Anand] Sundaram.

    He said his client will not face the felony charge if prosecutors cannot prove the girl suffered any injuries from the incident. If that's the case, he said, prosecutors could at most seek a charge of misdemeanor battery.
