I think somebody was after her in the woods.. She had most likely been attacked.

I didn't mean to make it sound like Eureka is full of weirdos and nothing more LOL...

Because Christine was wandering around going to "tea ceremonies" and getting into the "mix" of that type of culture and seeming to be hiking around and kind of wandering into the subculture there, I thought she might have ended up around the people who come there and live out on the jetty etc... and that is a very good place to come into contact with a dangerous criminal preditor element.  Lots of "hippie" type people over there who are very nice and caring and share what they have and try to help others, but mixed in with them are so hard core criminal weirdos who find the nice people easy prey.  They can also blend right in there and no one much notices who the horrible dangerous ones are.  Have heard some horror stories about things that went on over there.  Had my good friend's kids learn the hard way...

and tell me about the cold fog UGH... Every time I have been there I have frozen from that dang fog...dreary, gloomy, bone-chilling... and they say those were the nice days  LOL

no telling what all kind of drugs were in some of those concoctions people give you.  And sometimes those drugs never wear off.  Some people are affected by those a lot moreso than other people are... She could have been running from anything and flipping out and got out of there and ended up on top of someone else who then grabbed her. 

or it could have been someone from within the group, or the whole dang group.  Some people believe in whatever ceremonial rites they are preforming and others don't, they just use it to lure naive people. 

Yes, I also would like to know where is this shaman and who was there.  Why were they not taking care of her if she was having a bad reaction?  If they are legit in what they are doing.

And who did she meet within this group who still might have been hanging around her?

CIRCUMSTANCES
Christine was last seen at approx. 4 pm in Eureka, CA. She was found naked, pounding on a door looking for help. She had scratches on her body and was delusional. The homeowner took her to a hospital and after she was released, police took her to the Red Lion Hotel. She was last seen on November 14th.

DOB: 08/08/1985
Missing:11/14/2008
Age at disappearance:23
Sex: Female
Race:White
Hair: Light Red
Eyes: Blue/Green
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 100-110 lbs
Missing From: Eureka, CA
Suffers from asthma.

Christine may go by any of the following nicknames; “Star”, “Airy Star” or “Star Meadow”. She has a tattoo of a large green and purple iris on the nape of her neck and a small black butterfly tattoo on her lower front hip. Her left nostril is pierced and her ears are double pierced.

Authorities are asking for anyone with information regarding Walters to contact Police Services Officer Mary Anderson of the Criminal Investigation unit at 707-441-4300 or call the 24-hour dispatch number at 707-441-4044.

Why do you say that? She was acting funny when she asked her mom to send her all her ID documents and then was said to possibly be seen getting a ride.

I wonder if she didn't leave county with magic man?

The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office has recovered human skeletal remains off Fickle Hill Road outside of Arcata.

The sheriff's office got a call at about 5 p.m. Monday from a man who said his children found a human skull while playing in the backyard of their residence on the 3100 block of Fickle Hill Road.
