Going out of town today to see my Mom.  Take her to lunch and have some girly time.
She had the first meeting with the intake person yesterday who made a home visit.
Such a stressful time for her and so much information for her to process.

My prayers are with you all at this time.

So we had a little wind last night - this was our huge sign out front - thank goodness no one got hurt.

I am so sorry, TBM.  I am happy no one got hurt, but I know this is going to cost you money that, in this economy, no one has to spare.

Thanks. Luckily our insurance will cover a good portion of it. We were thinking of getting a new sign in the next 6 months but I guess that mother nature decided to speed things up.

Hi everyone...glad that everyone is safe from the storms...
Life with a new puppy is hard and time consuming! You forget when you have an older dog lol...Molly is adjusting...benji is probably thinking, when is she leaving...lol...
I am technically challenged..have taken pics of Molly to post and I keep messing up.  Will get it figured out..

Hubs just made my day...called me on his way to work to tell me that he loves me very much and that he is sorry that he has to leave me alone with a rambutious pup...
After 22 years I stll love hearing him say that he loves me.. He still rings my bell!

Prayers to many monkeys in need. I miss Trimm too

I miss Trimm too CC.  I sure wish some monkey had contact with her out of cage and could tell us she is alright.  an angelic monkey
Can a moderator or an administrator send her an email to check on her?

Only administrators have access to member information, moderators do not, unless we're given it by the member themselves.  I've been worried about Trimm too and if I could, I would send her an email checking on her if I had it.  Is there anyone that has been emailing with Trimm that can help out?  If not, maybe Klaasend can send an email.

I just sent her an email.  Hopefully she'll be able to answer.

Oh Cookie, that is so sweet!  It is one of the best lessons in life, don't wait to tell someone you love them, tell them today!

Klaas, thank you for emailing Trimm -- lots of prayers headed that way!

Thoughts of my monkeys friends, taking George to the cardiologist this morning.  Lots of prayers around that also.

Good morning my friends!  Hope everyone has a blessed day!  I get to see my son tomorrow- he has been gone for two months!

Have fun visiting with you son Caddy.    Is he coming there or are you going there?
He is coming home for a long weekend.  He is away doing an internship and just taking a break.

I'd love to know more about what he is doing, but I don't want to pry.  Anything else you can share?

Oh - you are not prying.  He has been doing sports strength and athletic conditioning internships. Done three different internships all over the country and I think he is coming back home to settle.  Great kid, smart kid and committed kid...can you tell I am proud? Been an athlete all his life and wants to continue to help others meet their goals - he can do it, too.

How wonderful!  You most definitely should be proud!

Hi all,,,,,,yes, Molly is very cute but she is kicking my butt! She is very active!  Lol..

Trim....come out come out where ever you are!

Everyone else basically doing ok?  Hope so

Don't worry, you only have less than 2 more years of this.

How has she been at night?  You are going to be so happy you did this.  Do you have a child in the neighborhood who would like to play with her and wear her out once in a while?

I love your husband, too.

Why?  Because he makes you so very happy.   sunny

I love hearing about people who love each other.  I remember when I was a teenager, I was in the outside mall, and was sitting down on a bench, and watching as people walked by.  It was my dinner break.  This couple, who had been senior citizens for quite a while, came out of the ice cream store, hand in hand, while eating their ice cream cones.  I knew at that very moment that was what I wanted (no, CC, not their ice cream cones).   Monkey Devil!

I wanted to be like that, when I myself was a senior citizen for quite a while, and I was not going to settle for anything less.

Cookie, you are living the dream!

I am so very happy for you!

Evening Monkeys

I have a message from JSM. She ask me to tell you all hi and tell you she misses everyone. She isn't feeling well and said she would try and post tomorrow at work.

Thanks for the message GE.  I'm sorry JSM isn't feelng well and hope she feels better soon.   an angelic monkey

Oh, I hope I didn't make her sick.

I shouldn't have sat so close to my monitor.

Hope you feel better, Sweetie!

They will!  Who knew resting could be so, well, painful?

Thank you Can, for being such a champion of the cause, and keeping the lights on for me here, when I am missing.

Thank you all for your prayers, it means so very much to me.  I can always depend on my Monkey friends, throughout the cage, to keep me in their thoughts and prayers.  You are incredible, and I am so very blessed to know you.  Klaas, thanks for being there and doing so very many things behind the scenes, CBB, thanks for keeping me incredibly dressed, the other Mods, for keeping the cage so well oiled and spit-free, and all the Monkeys who do their part, whatever that may be, in keeping the missing and exploited in the forefront.  Thanks, Red, for providing this incredible place for us to work and play in.

That's one way to look at it.  I am sure it shook you up at the time, and was quite a job to clean up.
