‘Caylee’s law’ bill comes before Md. committee
By Greg Masters

Lawmakers in Maryland debated on Thursday whether to impose among the harshest penalties in the nation on parents who fail to report a missing or dead child. Maryland is one of more than a dozen states considering such a move after a Florida mother, Casey Anthony, was acquitted last year of the most serious charges, including murder, in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.

Dubbed “Caylee’s Law” after the child, whose disappearance Anthony never reported to police, it would make failure to report within a day a missing child younger than 13 a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The penalty would be almost seven times the maximum sentence in New Jersey, which last month became the first state to enact such a law.

Yes I'm sure it's a crime everywhere. The thing is, that driving without a license, and other breaches we well know she's committed (ie; her "alcohol consumption"- I could NOT FIND actual Documentation- that she was "in excess" - nor past the "extent of to where your normal faculties are impaired")  The breaches/conditions- HAVE TO BE WELL DOCUMENTED- and they're not that I can find. It comes down to "he said-she said"- which doesn't make a good argument - a moot point ! ( I had to chuckle- "normal" ??? ) I wish the lady that was on the news saying she saw her at an intersection driving had taken a picture! Maybe someone will now, either her driving, or drunk, anyone here available with a camera?

The above was tweeted 18 hours ago at this point.  It's a good thing he only said "stand by" and not "hold your breath"....  I haven't seen any updates yet.  Has anyone?

Nope. Here's a great article, and btw the Petition is open for signing again!(Petition link in post above) Article:
http://karma4caylee.com/
Excerpt:
This trial and the ensuing investigation will be divided into a series of articles this year...each one outlining a crime (or suspected crime) that was committed during the past three years...

and there are many.

These are crimes that seemed to occur right in front of our faces, committed by the family of the victim, the defense attorneys  and other’s and yet these blatant offenses were met with absolutely no repercussions...crickets.  Crimes that have not been charged and not gone to trial yet. These are crimes that don’t fall under an umbrella of “double jeopardy” and could still be charged in the future.
