Casey Anthony probation check-in: Still unemployed, no alcohol or drugs
11:17 a.m. EST, May 3, 2012

Casey Anthony is still unemployed, is avoiding drugs and alcohol and isn't taking classes or participating in therapy, according to the report from her most-recent probation check-in.

Anthony met with her probation officer Tuesday night, according to the Florida Department of Corrections. The officer reported no changes to her probation status this month.

Contrary to past months, Anthony indicated on her latest probation report that she is not enrolled in either classes or therapy. She again reported no debt and no income in the past 30 days.

The Official Jeffrey Ashton Page
17 hours ago
I wanted to share a review of my book from the May issue of the Florida Bar Journal.

Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony
By Jeff Ashton with Lisa Pulitzer
Reviewed by Mark Lewis
Disclosure: 1) I am a prosecutor; 2) I know and have great regard for Jeff Ashton; 3) I think the jury got it wrong.

Although not necessarily written for this purpose, Jeff Ashton, in his book about the Casey Anthony trial, appears to try to understand how the jury, given the formidable circumstantial evidence and the overwhelming number of incidents of the defendant’s lies, could have reached a “not guilty” verdict in such a short amount of time.

The majority of the book concentrates on the investigation leading up to the filing of charges and the ultimate trial. Ashton, who came onto the prosecution team due to his expertise in scientific evidence, presents a compelling case for conviction, even in light of the medical examiner’s inability to specify a cause of death. As prosecutors often state in closing arguments, while people may not always be telling the truth, the circumstantial evidence does not lie.

On the subject of lying, Ashton documents the incredible number of times during the investigation that Casey was caught telling one false tale after another. He depicts a person who would unashamedly lie until backed into a corner, which is what literally happened when she led investigators through Universal Studios to point out her office, finally admitting, while standing at the end of a hallway, that she did not work there.

In the end, Ashton admits to some faults, but is firm in his belief that the prosecution team did the best it could with what it had. He takes a few jabs at the jury, noting how they seemed more interested in deciding what DVDs to watch in the evenings than in viewing the evidence. But he ultimately stands up for the jury system, even if it is “imperfect” at times.

Imperfect Justice is a good short recap, with some new insights, of a case that captivated the country for such a long time. For prosecutors, it is a frustrating reminder that proving a circumstantial case beyond and to the exclusion of a reasonable doubt is rarely easy. Ashton states he believes that Jose Baez won in spite of himself. I am not so sure.

Imperfect Justice is available from William Morrow (324-pp.) for $26.99.

Mark Lewis is a Bar member with the State Attorney’s Office in Tampa.

BREAKING – The Camps Say They “Were Betrayed By Casey Anthony” In The Sale Of The Phone Tapes!
MAY 2, 2012

In the continuing saga of Casey Anthony and her “leaked” tapes to Radar Online, we have learned that the Camps feel that only Casey Anthony herself could have leaked this information to them most likely via third party so that the money trail would not lead back to her.

In one of her last conversations with Casey, Cindy Camp says Casey told her that she could “make their lives miserable” if she chose to.  Just exactly what she meant by this was not elaborated on.

Going further and in speaking to someone who was formerly in Casey’s camp it was revealed that Casey Anthony saves every single piece of correspondence she sends or receives. This includes voice mails to which she is alleged to change the passwords on frequently making them combinations of letters, numbers and symbols.

It was also revealed that Casey Anthony is broke and has been borrowing money from several people, including Dorothy Clay Sims, with the promise to re-pay them when her “pay day” comes in.

So, what does this all mean and more especially does this mean that she was complacent in the selling of the tapes to Radar Online?  In one word, yes.
 ::snipping2::

 ::snipping2::
Could the tapes have been sold without Casey’s consent? Probably, but in doing so the website that ran them and the parties that sold them open themselves up for a huge lawsuit, and we all know Casey would sue in a heartbeat. This combined with the fact that Camp Casey is not out denouncing these tapes as they did with the video speaks volumes.

BREAKING – The Rob Hensley-Amelia Sobel Connection To Leaked Casey Anthony Tapes!
MAY 2, 2012

As reported exclusively on this blog yesterday, it has been confirmed that Amelia Sobel aka Amy Brooks sold the possibly illegally obtained Casey Anthony phone messages to Radar Online. Recordings obtained by Rob Hensley. It would stand to reason because of Mr Hensley’s past criminal record he would not want to have a money trail back to him and the tapes. Enter Amelia Sobel.

Thanks Tupelohoney for the up date. The bold part says it all. We all knew it was only a matter of time. She isn't going to change. In the end she is going to hurt the Pastor and his family.

Does RadarOnline pay for this type stuff?  If so, they've probably just lined KC's pockets.  She's been out of the news for too long.  Who would have access to a voicemail to KC except KC?

As for the 'church' folks...well, duh.  KC is a sociopath. Of course she's going to lie to you and use you.  You got played.  Now learn from it.

Casey Anthony’s Personal Bodyguard Revealed — The Man Who Hid ‘Tot Mom’ In Secret Hideout For $10K (EXCLUSIVE)

This is the man who helped Casey Anthony flee Florida for California — and orchestrate her life on the run.

Private investigator Jeremiah “Jerry” Lyons provided bodyguard services to 26-year-old ‘Tot Mom’ and was on the payroll of former attorney Jose Baez, according to a document obtained by Celebuzz.

Lyons billed Baez for services touted as “the protection, safety and travel of Casey Anthony.”

“The hourly rate of pay was computed at $65 per hour,” the invoice, dated September 1, 2011 and sent to Baez’s office, said.“The full day rate was computed at an eight hour day although on most days the hours worked were well in excess of that.” ::snipping2::

 ::snipping2::
Lyons also provided a cell phone for Anthony, in his name, for her use beginning in July, 2011. He billed Baez $75 per month, noting it gave the user “unlimited long distance and local phone calls” and “unlimited text.”

In all, Lyons’ bill totaled $9,335.82.

Yep...remember him as the guy who sat behind Casey in court and spoke with her while court was in recess...if I recall correctly, wasn't it rumored that he was also a member of the church where Casey might've holed up at...he lived not far from the church..or am I confused about the church and where he lived...
