That would make the entire house actually rather small.

Certainly not a mansion by any standard.  Doesn't look very maze like to me, more like a chunk.

Rectangular house with awning on the front, not very large.

But I guess size is relevant and perhaps varies regionally.  I know my son has a new "house" in D.C. area I would think was more like a two-story closet!  My home is very modest but I just expected more from this person who not only inherited a VW dealership from his father but is supposed to be some big drug dealer.

Using the awning on the front which we can see has a car parked under it, estimate the dimentions of the house and what do you get?

Just wondering. . . .

.

Compared to anything else in the area, this is a large sized house and compound Anna.

Yeh its a monster for sure compared to everything around him..

But most of those appear to be very tiny about the size of the thatched hut for the pool!  Compared to the home of GVC for example, this one is not exceptional IN MY OPINION, just uglier.

It's still not a "mansion" just because the neighbors live in abject poverty.

Oh, nevermind!  Guess it has tunnels under it to the ocean, too, despite the fact they would have to go for miles and under a major thoroughfare?

Whatever... . . . . .

Anna..I would take that house and property in a heart beat.
It's time to bust the first rumors then..No way that house has underground tunnels to the ocean.

I wouldnt be so sure of that.  Aruba does have some lava tubes under and around it....

might have to research this a little bit

also the ground is different colors on one side of his house to the other.  Kind of grayish towards the ocean and reddish the other way.

His house looks to be about a half mile to the ocean. Doubtful a tunnel there, would have to go under a bunch of houses. But he would be very close to a dock for his boat.

We might want to check for nearest boat docks. These show up well on GE.

OFF TOPIC !!!!

Nine words women use...

1.) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3.) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4.) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

5.) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

8.) Whatever: Is a women's way of saying *%&$# YOU!

9.) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer
to #3 above.

Blah...
You forgot

10) I do not Care:  They want you to make a decision for once  even though they may not agree with it.

I have listened and watched the Aruba news all day and absolutely not - no way was Paul Van der Sloot arrested - in fact one article said that he was in no way a suspect!

All that land around his house. A person could be buried anywhere around there and never be found unless there was a wide search of the property surrounding the compound, and there wasn't.

There is a long cluster of boat docks about a half mile south east of his house. North of the Fishbone.

Do you think his pot garden was in the area behind the pool, or in front of it?   Laughing

Kidding aside, the picture that Rob blew up makes the house seem as though it's 2 stories.  I can't see windows though.  If it's a two story building, then it would have a pretty good amount of sq. footage/living space.  imo
