Does Chrome own/operate Firefox?

Google owns Chrome.

I've tried them all

IE
Firefox
Chrome
Opera
Safari

I would like IE if there weren't so many issues and bugs.  IE slow me down and ends up closing from time to time for no apparent reason.
Firefox is good, I like Firefox especially if you make use of add ons - I'm currently using Firefox
Chrome is ok but somehow doesn't feel as quick as Firefox
Opera and Safari just don't have as much to offer as Firefox, IMO

So of the 5 above my preference would be in this order:

FIREFOX
CHROME
IE
OPERA
SAFARI

I am having problems with firefox updates.
It keeps spinning with the dl and install.
I checked 3rd party cookies which before I would have unclicked.

Using (yuck) google atm till I get this issue fixed.

Chrome works the best for me, it's often an issue with firefox that the frequent updates don't flow through and hang up my system for days and days?
