Hey Brandi, what's the difference between "Air Worthiness Date" & "Last Action Date" shown at the below link? Is this informing the last inspection was 6/20/06 or 5/14/12? Isn't 5/14/12 when it was registered? Wouldn't they inspect it before flying?

Don't know, but I looked up "Air Worthiness Date":

An Airworthiness Certificate is issued by a representative of the FAA after the aircraft has been inspected, is found to meet the requirements of the FAR's, and is in condition for safe operation. The certificate must be displayed in the aircraft so that it is legible to passengers or crew whenever the aircraft is operated.

I guess that's when the aircraft was first deemed worthy for flight.

"Last action date" I presume would be when the last action was performed. In this case, when the aircraft was registered to the new owners.

By the time we would be home, we would have flown over 70 hours, 30 flights, nearly 18,000 miles, and consumed over 4,000 gallons of  Jet-A fuel over a span of 10 days.

We landed at Palomar airport (CRQ) with a very dirty Pilatus  PC-12 with worn tires from the landings,  and very tired.  KUSI and NBC San Diego news crews were there to greet us, along with Todd, David and others.  Before I could apologize to Todd about the condition of his airplane, he said ‘When do we make the next trip?’

I asked a guy that flies, and he says this plane is a very nice, expensive plane, and being a 2006, it's considered fairly new.  He said planes sometimes are inspected for air worthiness yearly, but it can vary depending on the plane, sometimes every 100 hours etc.  He said some things depend on whether they are privately owned, chartered and etc. The inspections and etc. can be rigorous.    I personally don't know much about these things.

Plane Carrying Junction City Family Crashes In Florida

Bramlage Coliseum at K-State has been appropriately named for them, the Dorothy Bramlage Library here in Junction City is named after the family. Becky became involved with our school board about 7 years ago and has just been a tremendous force in helping us to move forward. She’s a strong advocate for technology in our school district. We think we have a super strong technology program in our school district before of her efforts….Her and Ron supported the schools’ foundation with a lot of scholarships and just made this school district a much better place…This is a huge, huge loss for our community and our school district. On Thursday, Kansas State University President Kirk Schulz and Athletics Director Jon Currie issued a joint statement on the Bramlage Family: “We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news of the deaths of Ron and Becky Bramlage and their children today. The Bramlage family holds a special place in the history of Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, and Ron and Becky have been loyal supporters and great fans of K-State. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bramlage family during this difficult time.”

Ron (1990) and Becky (1991 and 1992) were both graduates of Kansas State University. They were both members of the K-State Alumni Association, President’s Club, Foundation Trustees and Ahearn Fund. Ron was the grandson of the late Fred Bramlage, a 1935 graduate of K-State and Junction City businessman. Fred Bramlage was the lead contributor to the construction of Bramlage Coliseum, a multi-purpose arena that opened in 1988 and is home to the K-State men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Deborah Johnston, a neighbor, says Ron Bramlage was a pilot and had recently purchased a new plane.
