If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com , you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier
that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but
it will go to some member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!
This is a great site.
Please send a card.
It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?

Thanks, Yapperz.  It is about time we do this, time we recognize it is not the intellectual writer, nor the congressman, not the bloviating rogues of the UN or the Congress who gave us our freedom and certainly not a literal paper tiger like the NYT or Washington Post who gave us our freedom, but these young men, some only 18 years old, thousands of miles from home equipped with a big heart, a lot of fear, a gun and willingness to fight for their country, for our freedoms, because they are the American soldier.

Time for all of us to suck it up and see how small we look when we comment on what they do or have not done, because few of us have walked in their boots.

Let's celebrate their strengths and look on their few shortcomings as human nature, and quit being so judgmental unless we personally know what pressure they face day in and day out with little or no sleep.
