Not sure Janet

Klaas and Janet, Altez thinks that the extradition process will take about three months.

http://edition.cnn.com/2012/04/23/us/peru-van-der-sloot/index.html

Quote

According to court documents obtained through Altez, a Peruvian judge has approved a U.S. request for provisional detention. This is the first step in the extradition process between Peru and the United States. The document says a formal extradition request has yet to be submitted, but will follow.

Quote

The only hold-up to the extradition is van der Sloot's appeal, which should be finished in about a month, Altez said.

"I think he will be extradited within the next three months," said Altez. "He will go to trial in the United States. Once he is sentenced, he will return to Peru to finish serving his 28 years, and then go back to the States to serve whatever sentence he gets there."

That's the thing, when people talk about Aruba/Venezuela and smuggling it's usually women being smuggled OUT of Venezuela INTO Aruba to work as prostitutes.

That's correct Klaas.  From what I have read, human/sex trafficking is TO Aruba.

On an island that size if they truly wanted to put an end to it, they could. Well, if they weren't all corrupt they could.

An ongoing waiting game.  Something akin the the defamation trial.  I will be pushing up daisies by the time that event happens.

Klaas, love your artwork.  You have done a great job on your design.  I can see the heart you have added to making it.  Can't wait to get mine.

I am so glad to see Peaches on the train along with 2NJ.  I know Natalee and Beth have friends in heaven.  Great job!

I "love" the Justice Train and especially what it stands for!

I hope my avatar can make its place with the Justice Train.

I know I haven't posted much on this forum in quite a while, but I do keep up with what's going on and so appreciate all the good posts that are being made.

I want so much for Beth to see justice done in some manner wrt Natalee.

All of us would be so happy to see Joran have to meet justice in Alabama!
