Lack of Winter Brings Early Allergy Season

The most obvious story about the winter of 2011-2012 is that there is no winter.

Aside from a handful of winter storms much of the nation has enjoyed above average temperatures, a conspicuous lack of winter precipitation, and spring-like conditions.

While it's fun to imagine this is what it's like to live in Florida, the reality of a year-round spring is hitting many of us hard. And it's coming in the form of itchy eyes and runny noses.

Allergy season is here. And it has arrived several months early.
