I've got a wide range in love of music, so if you didn't like the first one, try this. It's Clapton and Sting.........how can it miss, right?  Wink

Wow thanks CBB I hadn't heard that song before, it was nice and mellow. What could be nicer a great sound and a video filled with SEXY men? Is it just the warm july morning or is it getting hot in here?  Wink

Long Cool Woman
Hollies

Saturday night i was downtown
Working for the fbi
Sitting in a nest of bad men
Whisky bottles piling high

Bootlegging boozer on the west side
Full of people who are doing wrong
Just about to call up the da man
When i heard this woman singing a song

A pair of 45's made me open my eyes
My temperature started to rise
She was a long cool woman in a black dress
Just a 5'9, beautiful tall
With just one look i was a bad mess
'cos that long cool woman had it all

I saw her headin' to the table
Well a tall walking big black cat
When charlie said i hope that you're able boy
Well i'm telling you she knows where it's at
Well suddenly we heard the sirens
And everybody started to run
A jumping out of doors and tables
Well i heard somebody shooting a gun

Well the da was pumping my left hand
And then she was a-holding my right
Well i told her don't get scared
'cos you're gonna be spared
Well i've gotta be forgiven
If i wanna spend my living
With a long cool woman in a black dress
Just a 5'9 beautiful tall
Well, with just one look i was a bad mess
'cos that long cool woman had it all

Had it all

OMG!!!!  I can't believe I found this!!!!!!

I have been working on a new cut for this in the music room.  Had to get a full Marshall Stack to get the sound I wanted.  I am also working on another re-mix no one has thought of.  I just gotta shake the Beatles out of it!

Not Tracy Chapman, but  a cover of her song.....and not bad, she still sings it better. This could be the Aruba National Anthem IMO.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFvpWcyZ6kA

So

So you make a little money
Off of somebody else's sweat
So some people starve a little
While you get fat
While you get fat

So you grind and grind
And you push and shove
And claim that those most worthy
Will get what they deserve
What they deserve

It can't be true
It can't be true
Because I've seen too many hungry faces
I've seen too many with the likes of you
It can't be true

For you everything has it's price
You give nothing away for free
If silence were truly golden
I guess no one could sleep
No one could sleep

You have money at your fingertips
People at your beck and call
And you're fool enough
To think for a price
You can have the whole wide world

For all our sake's
And all our lives
We must hope the words
That come from your lips
We must hope those words are lies

For all our sake's
And all our lives
We must hope the dreams
Soulless visions that you have
Are never realized

So
You've got a big house
And you drive a fancy car
So what if your pockets are full
If you have an empty heart

You snap your fingers
And all the waters part
So what if the people bow down
If they show you no regard

Your left hand
Always watches your right
So what if you trust in God
If you can't sleep at night

You think you've made it
You think you've got what everyone wants
So what if you're a big fat man
With an empty little heart

Who has made a little money
Off of somebody else's sweat
Who watched the people starve
While you got fat
While you got fat
You got fat
You got fat

Does anyone else like The Red Hot Chili Peppers?  Base guitar and lead guitar players are very talented IMO ( Flea(Michael Balzry) and John Frusciante). This song may not show their talent to the greatest extent , but I love it anyway..

BB...........You're keeping me busy and I love it!  Laughing

I'm all over the place with music taste, but admit to having very few favorites in the country genre. Carrie Underwood is an exception for me, and I really do like this, from Faith Hill:

Neil Young used to be another fav of mine when I was in HS.
Recall going to field parties and Neil would be blasting. I, of course probably did things back then I shouldn't have. Like drank and did pot a few times  Embarassed  Embarassed  Embarassed
