Daniel Stoker was last seen in his front yard on Creighton Place pushing a red wagon around 7:30 a.m. He has blond hair, hazel/green eyes and was wearing a diaper.

Deputies have notified residents in the area of the missing child and have reviewed surveillance videos from nearby homes that show the boy outside at one point.
Firefighters are currently emptying a pool full of debris in the back yard of the toddlers home.

Just heartbreaking.  I hope little Daniel can be found safe, but it's not sounding good at this point.    Another child missing.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County deputies have found a 2-year-old boy dead in the family swimming pool.

Daniel Stocker was found shortly before 1 p.m. He was reported missing around 7:30 a.m. after he was last seen in his front yard on Creighton Place pushing a red wagon.

Divers showed up about two hours ago and searched, but the pool was murkier and deeper than originally thought. Crews began to pump water out of the pool and divers went back in.

After police found the boy's body, Stocker admitted that she was asleep during the time he went missing. She said she found out her son was missing after a neighbor told her another family's dogs were running loose in the neighborhood.

   What was she thinking?  I mean, really.

UPDATED: Investigation Continues Into 2-Year-Old's Death After Being Found In Family Pool

Deputies are still in the early stages of their investigation, as they work to figure out how exactly the child was able to get to the pool. Investigators say they are now questioning the 2-year-old's mother. The Richmond County Coroner's Office has the child's body, and is working to determine an official cause of death.

We understand the 2-year-old's father was not home Wednesday morning, as he was at work in Atlanta when this happened.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection to the drowning death of a 2-year-old boy on Wednesday.

The boy's mother, Lisa Stocker, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor deprivation of a child and felony involuntary manslaughter.

Her son, Daniel Stocker, was found in a backyard pool of a home on the 3000 block of Creighton Place. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

I'm confused.  I did copy/paste and used the quote button.  I'm afraid I don't have a sharp enough short term memory to try typing out a part of an article.  Maybe the article was updated and the particular section that I copied/pasted was changed?

Apparently, there was some confusion over the spelling of the last name of this family.  Here is a copied/pasted part for ex....

Here is the child's obit with his name spelled 'Stocker".  The night that this was on local news stations, they reported his name as Stoker.
