Good morning everyone!

Progress on Miss Molly Mocha....doing a lot better...the nipping, biting has all stopped...she is almost 5 months old now. She is turning into a lovely pet....
She is going to be a big lug...she already weighs over 40 lbs...she is a swiper...can put her paws on the countertop and swipe whatever is on the edge...she does listen though when we tell her to get down...

Oh that's great news, cookie. I just knew you two would bond and become good friends!

Reminds me of when we adopted Brandi. During the first week here, she reached up on the counter top and grabbed a stick of butter! I was so shocked, I yelled at her quite sharply. She never took anything off a counter top after that. I must have scared her to death. LOL

I know, how could anyone yell at this sweet thang! LOL

How cute!

CC.  I am so happy for you and the DoD is lucky to have you.  I am a DFW Monkey and love Ft. Worth and think you will be very happy there.  Always thought Karma was at work bringing you here to join JSM.

Congrats, CC! Too little time to post, but I've been peeking in every now and then to see how the job search was going. SO glad you're home with JSM (hey Jsm!) and now employed. You can only enjoy being a "kept man" for so long, right?  Monkey Devil!

Thanking everyone for prayers.  I am home for the night.
Was suppose to stay with my Mom but she was taken to the emergency room Tuesday morning with breathing difficulties.
Recovery is a little more difficult than anticipated because of stitches.  Ouch!
Have been staying with my friend Dennis -- he is a good nurse.  But needed to come home at least for the night.
Headed for bed.
Blessings.

Been praying for you!  I am praying for Mom and Dennis, too, and of course George and your Sister.

chi-monkey,

wanna get out of those Autumn clothes and try on this refreshing summer outfit?

Thank you so much Brandi.  Yes Scooter looks much more comfortable with the season by the pool.

I always am awed at your imagination.  He would lick you a kiss if he could.

Chi Monkey  How was your morning? We had thunder, lightning and rain until about 8 this morning. Thank goodness no hail here.

Wow, that thunder and lightning was bad.  Rain is always appreciated, but i am thankful about no hail or tornados.  I am not far from the "Flying J" where trucks really flew last time!  Hope other monikeys avoided damage.

Chi-M

They really did go flying around last time didn't they. My family called when they saw it on the news. I hope no one had any damage either. I know there was some damage from wind way up north. That's two mornings in a row all the noise and lightning woke me up.

We had wind and storms here Tuesday night, looked like the sky was falling!  Part of the top of my car blew off!

The two jobs calculations done for retirement purposes.  I've tentatively decided on DoD for the fact that you can contribute 5% of your salary to their savings plan and DoD will match it 100%.

Chi-monkey, where abouts in FW do you live?  You can pick me up at the TRE in FW in the morning and drive me to the office.

CC, I would be proud to drive you to work every day if you wear the Texas boots / flip flops.  Monkey Devil!

But I retired so long ago that I have forgotten how to set an alarm to start a workday.   Also, living in Duncanville now would add a few miles to the drive.      On the other hand, the boot flipflops are so attractive maybe I could ...

Seriously that 5% savings & matching plan is a great perk.   If it is tax shielded and roll over-able, all the better.

How much golf can you squeeze in in the next few weeks?  Better get at it.

Thanks, CM.  It is not a convertible, but the wind something or another.  I have removed the silicone and have to get new silicone and put it back on.

My little neighbor up the street asked me to come and see her for her 8th Grade formal.  She is soooo excited.

My neighbor works for a family and tomorrow the 4 year old and she are going to a farm.  They invited me.  What will you be doing?

Yes.  We are fine.  I say, if it's not one thing, it's my Mother.

Thanks for asking!

Mother troubles, work troubles (I'm gonna find that "worst boss ever" website, I swear)....the usual. Other than that, great! I'm finally getting some energy back (for the weekends, anyway) and jist treading water. Busy busy busy. two grandsons in baseball = many nights at the ballfield. One granddaughter in ballet-recitals. Maybe this year I can make it thru the ballgames without nodding off!

Sounds like you have your hands full! Good thing you have big hands, eh?

Hi to all Monks, I've missed you!

Hi to all Monks, I've missed you!

Sorry to hear you are having mother troubles. Boss troubles? Did we need to have a monkey visit?  Glad you're slowly getting your energy back and enjoying the grand kids.
