Poor little thing. I am glad someone took it to the vet.  We have them here. Just last week granddaughter and her friend saw some in our yard when they came home from the movies.
I have them too.  Bless whoever took the times to take her to the vet.

I wish I was going to Texas, it would be great to meet special monkeys in person!

Connie must have broken her right arm yesterday.  She doensn't remember falling or bumping into anything.  Doctor today for her and cat scan and biopsy for George today.  Doctor for me tomorrow (I'm hoping for a B-12 shot or something).

Getting a new computer which should be here next week.  In the meantime, I'm on a borrowed one.  God bless the person who has loaned me this one!

Record highs coming.  Get the fan out again Brandi!

I need that fan Brandi!

Plenty for all of us!

::HelloKitty::4Donks!  We have been missing you!  Did you have a fall?  Are you OK?  That PUP doesn't really look like a pup, to me?  haha  But a lucky pup at that to be in your care with the donks in the countyside!  I wish my huskies had that misting system - they don't go out at all - hot here in the Ham, as well.

Sister - Your plate is so full all the time.  You def are an angel an angelic monkey to take care of Connie and George.  I honestly don't know how you minister to everyone that you do.  Hugs.

JSM - So sad about the baby deer - but you have to think a baby does need it's mom, don't ya?

POOL PARTY   When is it and can I come??  So cool (casually cool) of you to invite TBM and her boys over - what a sweet gesture.

Chubs and Cad

Of course Cad, bring Chubs and Cad too.  If you really are interested I'll give an email and/or phone.

Ok all you Texas monkeys and other monkeys who might be in the area or just want to meet up.  TBM is driving down from Michigan and will be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area around 7/18-7/19, with 3 boys aged 6, 12, 19.  Lookinjg for any ideas on a place to meet.  The Texas Rangers are out of town, no rodeos going on in the area, horse racing season over.  Suggestions from Chi-Monkey, GE, Babs, TBM, and JSM and others welcomed. All I can think of is 6 Flags in Arlington, a pool/bbq party at our apt. in Irving, a couple of kegs of beer at the gun shooting range, golf course, IJDK where else, unless TBM's 3 in tow can spend some time at 6 Flags or a waterpark around Irving, or if she wants quality monkey only time.

HELP!!!!

Maybe they would all like to try a little ice skating?  Would be nice and cool at the rink!

The boys voted for a pool party - but the shooting range came in second - I can be the designated driver for you all!

Today I went to Tractor Supply and bought a misting system that I'll be installing in the barn for the donks....triple digits here.

Sister

Here's the pup I'll be fostering for the shelter. My sister thinks my fall damaged my common sense. Monkey Devil! He's a Landseer Newfoundland pup.

He's a cutie!

For whatever reason, this computer won't let me quote -- who knows and I am not going to try and fix it.  I am "fix it" out.  No more fix it in me right now, except for me.  JSM, I will throw a fit and I am sure it won't be pretty, but the PA I am seeing is really cool, so I am thinking it will be ok.  You take care of you too.
Going to get Mr. Jenkins from Connie so she can get some much needed rest and not have to worry about getting up, putting on her leg brace, etc.  He will help relieve my stress as well.  As you can tell, because of the hour, I am stressed to the max.  Have taken one of my little "angel" pills, so maybe in a bit I can go back to sleep.
Would love to come to Texas and meet everyone.  I have some frequent flyer miles . . . hmmmm! as it looks like no Key West with Connie this year.  Will take her somewhere I can drive instead.  But this old computer won't let me try and find out how much it would cost to fly and/or use my frequent flyer miles.
So sorry about the little deer . . . I believe God has a special place for all His creatures.

Bearly, thank you for loving Connie too.  You will never know what that means to me.  She is very loveable.  When she is better, I will give her your hug!

Much humbleness felt for everyone's kind words.  I am just stressed and tired right now and I don't like the feeling at all.  oxox

4Donks, went in Brandi's thread to get my dose of cheerfulness and saw more pictures of the "pup" -- and he has lost 25 lbs.  He will be very big, but what a handsome face.  You are precious for saving his life!  I have named him "Newbie" for the new chance on life you are giving him.  How I wish I could take him.  But it looks like I am foster mommy for Connie's dog, at least for a while.
Sorry about your fall but so glad nothing was broken.  Can't imagine the aggravation of having to wear a cast particularly in this weather.
Wonder if Newbie would enjoy the misting system too>  I can't wait to hear how the donks take to it, at least early on.

We lucked out; just a few branches down from last night's storms. Virginia had the most people out of power ever (aside from a hurricane) last night. DC got hit hard too.

Then we just had another round of storms go through, and we lucked out another time at our house. We could hear sirens of emergency vehicles for a long time going to emergencies. Tornado warnings at our house, but we dodged that bullet also.

Calling for another round tomorrow night.

I feel so badly for all those people without power. Some just had it restored on Thursday after Monday night's storms. Calling for 100+ temps the next 3 days. That will be 5 days in a row.

I hope sister is doing okay; I believe her area also got the storms last night also. So many without power!

Brandi I am so glad you are okay. It seems so many have been hit hard from these storms.  I hope Sister is okay. To have no power with the high temperatures is not good.  My niece and her hubby live Virginia.  She went to the hospital today to have her baby.
