So quiet in here today.

Guess many monkeys are preparing for tomorrow's Texas Monkey Pool Party!

It's been crazy here Brandi Granddaughter and friends found a baby kitty in one of their garages in the wall. So guess where they brought it. The poor little thing couldn't have been more than 3 weeks old. Feeding him every couple hours. You would think he hadn't eaten in days. Then having to figure out how to get him to go potty. It's been so fun.  Happy to say he is doing well. Walking around after I feed him.  Babs says he is going to spoiled big time.    I haven't had much time to do much of any thing. But feed the baby kitty.

Awww!

So glad he got rescued!

Poor thing, trapped in a wall.

Did you name him Wally?

Great Name Brandi Thanks.  Been calling him baby boy.

Wally -- how cool would that be for his precious name.

Going to go get Mr. Jenkins tomorrow to spend a few days with me.  When I'm tired, I get lonely.  He always cheers me up!

Hope everyone has fun today at the pool party!

Good morning all monkeys!  Today is the big day! So excited. My son said he would take a nice pic and then, with permission from the other monkeys involved, I will post it!

...and to accomodate Sister's fetish, I'll take a group pic of everyone's feet and see if she can match them up to the monkey.

Oh, wow, so much going on.  Glad kitty was rescued and has a great moniker.

Sister - prayers for your health issues and George's as well.  Ho

Hope all have safe traveling to their various destinations.

Thanks for well wishes for my surgery.  Unfortunately, it was aborted.  Once the surgeon opened my neck, he found that my thyroid was so scarred that he couldn't find the landmarks he needed to get to the back where my cervix was to be fused.  Carotid artery couldn't even be seen.  I guess my next call is to my Endocrinologist to find out what is going on with my thyroid; I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's 4 years ago but recent ultrasounds indicate no change in my thyroid in the last three years.  My last cervical fusion was three years ago, so I am confused as to what has changed.  Really sucks to get old and have multiple health issues.  Fortunately they are minor compared to what others are dealing with.

Sounds like the pool party was a blast.  I should have blown off surgery and gone to that instead -- lots more fun!

That is so funny Brandi.  I got sunburned  It was so much fum getting to meet Chi Monkey, TBM  Had a wonderful time. Even with the heat.  Had a Texas storm come up just got everything picked up and packed up when it started really coming down. TBM youngest is a little fish I think he would have stayed in the pool even with the rain.  To much lightning.

Great meeting you.  I got home before the storm hit.  My old blind deaf poodle was howling his heart out.  He is the sweetest little fellow and i hate to see him lost and unhappy.  The 3 chihuahuas were watching their food bowls hopefully.   The friend/dog sitter was worn out.  It was nice that i returned prestorm.  The chi's go crazy in thunder.

Glad no one else was caught in the storm.  The truck that rolled sideways onto a car was not far from our area.  Lucky us!
