Recovering from the Monkey Pool party.  Whew it was hot!   Great fun meeting everyone.
Thanks to JSM and CC for the good time and hope they can live down the Monkey Business  in the Pool.   Chi Monkey

Was so good to meet you chi Monkey. It sure was hot wasn't it. How are you fur babies doing? Did you make it home before the storm hit?  Enjoyed talking with you. Maybe next time it wont be so hot.

Great meeting you.  I got home before the storm hit.  My old blind deaf poodle was howling his heart out.  He is the sweetest little fellow and i hate to see him lost and unhappy.  The 3 chihuahuas were watching their food bowls hopefully.   The friend/dog sitter was worn out.  It was nice that i returned prestorm.  The chi's go crazy in thunder.

Glad no one else was caught in the storm.  The truck that rolled sideways onto a car was not far from our area.  Lucky us!

We waited out the storm so didn't have drive in it. Glad you made it home before it hit. Your poor fur babies. When Babs and I got home the storm had hit here but missed Babs. Hubs said we lost some power.  I ask how do you lose some power? I guess there was some power because the lights dimmed but didn't go out. But the AC stopped working for a little while.

Yikes I saw that on the news yesterday. Glad you are alright. I enjoyed meeting you too. Hope we can do it again some time. But when it's a little cooler.

Three monkeys and our downstairs friend (there's a side story about her).

Fun times at BBQ/pool party.  It was a pleasure meeting TBM and Chi.  I was the first to arrive at the pool to await the caterer, who arrived at about the same time as Chi did.  My MIL and her 9 y.o. grandson arrived about 10 minutes after I did.  At first I thought Chi was the caterer and was about to tip her $20, she kept the money anyway.

GE and Babs arrived a short time later, dressed in their fur coats, with a cooler full of monkey nectar.  A bit later TBM and three boys in tow arrived, after getting lost cause they had JSM's work address in their GPS instead of her home.  And to think she had a college edumacated co-pilot with her.

Food was great and so was conversations.

All monkeys enjoyed swimming in the pool cause of the heat, except Chi, who was afraid to come out of the locker, she was afraid that someone might see, one two three four...lalalala

Then our 40 y.o. neighbor friend proceeded to drink most of JSM's beer and picked up a 20 y.o. kid from the pool.  What a nutter.

We headed back to our apt. before the storms hit and now JSM and I are missing some gold coins and silverware,   Monkey Devil! Monkey Devil!

Had a wonderful time yesterday. But we always do when we go out to see you and JSM. Dang I didn't figure you would miss the silverware fast.  You and JSM made sure we all had a good time. You were a good Mod at the pool to keep us all on our best behavior.

It was great to meet some more wonderful Monkeys.

I have a few pics...........but..........my camera is a Mavica & uses floppies.......my old PC decided to take a poop and our other puters and laptop don't have floppy drives, why do they keep "improving" our electronics and leave us holding the bag with our old favorites that are now obsolete!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, rant over...Had a wonderful time yesterday, even in the Texas heat, thankgoodness it was a pool party.  Thankyou again CC & JSM and was great meeting TBM & Chi.

Looks like a good time was had by all.  Glad the storms didn't make any direct hits.  Next year, my house?  We can go tubing down the Brazos River.

Good morning all! We are home safe and sound. We drove pretty much straight through after the party with a few hour stop for sleep! Did see the arch though. I had a wonderful time and it was so fun meeting all of you! I will post the pic in a few minutes when I get the flash drive out of the truck.
