Can  Prayers for your brothers surgery today. May the surgeon's hand be guided by God today. Speedy recovery for your brother. an angelic monkey

Sister Continued prayers for you and George. Hope you get some rest soon.  an angelic monkey

Caddy love your stories about Cad and the Criminal.

Good news kind of here. Hubs has had major issues with his eyes. After a 2 eyes surgeries and shots in his eye every month. He finely got the all clear from his doctor. Now only have to go every three months.  My grand nephew made it though his brain surgery for a tumor with flying colors. They got it all and the doctor said he didn't think it was cancer but still waiting. He is only 15.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Prayers for you, your hubby, and your grand nephew.  Can your husband see any better?

I hate to hear about kids having cancer.  I just attended an affair for the 5 year old Granddaughter of a woman I went to grade school and high school with.  She had many rounds of chemo and is now, hopefully, cancer-free.  She has just finished her chemo and needs lots of prayers.

GE - thank you for your prayers.  My brothers surgery went better than we expected.  All
the biopsies came back clear.  The epidural which freezes the surgical site has kept him free of pain.  His sugeon is surprised at how well he is doing.
My Mom will stay with us for a few days and we'll make the trip to see him over the weekend.  My Mom will have a wee break while her husband stays with his daughter.

Glad to hear your husband got the all clear and that your young nephew's surgery went well.   an angelic monkey

Sister - I hope that you are able to get a sound sleep soon.   an angelic monkey

Bearly - Thinking of you.  an angelic monkey

Blessings to all our Monkeys!

Goodness.. My dear monkey friends r sure going through se stuff lately. Prayers and thoughts coming your ways.

The power of prayer! I might need some too. Will know more to
tomorrow. Don't use a prayer for me yet until I know if I need them, especially since so many others are in need right now <3

Cad.. Our invisible fencing where she gets into the mulch is right along the back door that she goes out to potty at.so she would get a shock coming in and out.  We r going to have the mulch taken out and pavers put into the flower beds. Should look nice and she won't be a me to eat those!
Thanks for all the good advice everyone

Take some pictures when you are done, please.

Good morning everyone!

Been going through a lot lately . . . but enough of that.
Headed to George's to tear down his ceiling before it falls on his head.  I think the old glue has finally said I'm done working.  I'll let you know how I make out -- it should be an adventure.
I'll try and get caught up this weekend . . . but know I pray for all of you every day, faithfully.
Blessings.

His ceiling is only glued up?

Afternoon Monkeys

Can so nice to see you. I hope Trimm will be back with us soon.

Sister continued prayers for you and all your loved ones.

4Donks hope you and the Donks and fur babies are doing okay.

Bearly prayers and hugs.

Caddy did you get any of the nasty weather last week? Hope you are doing well.

JSM & CC    How are the pups doing?

Cookie where are you?

Prayers and hugs for all the Monkeys.

We are having beautiful weather here today. Hope everyone has a great day
Hi GE!  Birmingham really escaped the really bad weather- had some rain though.  Unfortunately, it looks like Louisiana got hit really hard.  The storm just sat and stalled and rained and rained and I saw on the news that there was more flooding with this storm than Katrina.  Don't you feel bad for those folks?  I also heard that thee storm churned up some oil from the big BP oil spill - I think that was in LA also.

We are down at the Alabama gulf coast right now, and the weather is great and the water in the gulf is beautiful.  I am sitting on the deck overlooking the river and reading a book on my iPad - and of course, checking in with all of you!!   Ha ha- hubs is working on paperwork.

Love to hear from everyone... Keep checking in.

Chubbie and the Criminal are at home !!

I fell badly for all those affected by the storm.  They are in my prayers.

 an angelic monkey

I hope you had a nice time on your trip.  Take care!  Who was minding the pooches?  Did he/she earn their halo?

 Monkey Devil!

Thanks, we did have a good trip- except for a broken watercraft, that had just been fixed.  Argh...  Our son lives back at home, so he is in charge of the mutts quite often.  Well, with all due respect he brought both of them home???

Yes, I know lots of people who have custody of their grand-pooches.  Sorry about the watercraft.  It seems nothing gets fixed right these days.

I have been here checking on you guys from time to time.  Life is crazy right now.  Everything is happening at once.  I miss my brother so very much.  He was my rock.  My Mom is back in the hospital, my Dad is so sad that my brother is gone, he came to visit him once a week, usually while I was there and we kept him laughing.  My son, who was going to be an Electrician Assistant is having massive anxiety about school.  My brother was a "Rock Star Electrician" and was electrocuted, my son thinks he is going to die any minute in school.

The facility that is taking care of Dad costs a fortune.  They don't even wash their hands between patients.  I am so very disgusted, I could scream.  There are very few people who are trained.

I was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago.  A woman drove right into the driver's side of my car, right where I was sitting.  I was parked.  She said she didn't see me (I drive a van).  I am hurting.

Just venting and letting you know I have not abandoned you, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

behave yourselves.

Bearly, that is awful about your accident.  I hope you feel better very soon.  I bet you are sore?

Oh, I know about the fortune that it costs to place one's parent in a facility.  We have that cost with Mom.

Another sad day for us today, Mom was taken back to be hospitalized for the 5th time today in less than a year.  This is her third psychiatric admission.  It has been a very long stressful day.     I just pray they can help her mind find some relief.  She asked me yesterday if she could come live with me. It was the hardest thing to tell her no because she doesn't truly understand why she can not.

May the doctors that she is under have the knowledge to help her. That is my prayer for tonight.

Thanks, cadi, yes, I am sore.

Both parents are in a facility.  My Mom is in a different one right now.  She had to go in the hospital for a second time and needs to be watched at this facility for non-compliance to the doctor's orders the first time.

I am so sorry about your Mom.  I also hope she can get some relief.

Amen to having the knowledge to treat people with psych issues.  We don't, as a country, recognize that this is an issue, and just brush over it.  I wish they would put more funding there.

I hope things will be looking up for you and your family soon.

My son calls this the "Bearly" crisis year.

Love you too, McBee!

Uhoh.  Has anyone seen the bee?!?

I have not been posting much since the beginning of the school year is so busy! I do read everyday and have kept all of you in my prayers.

I have a new great nephew that I get to care for a day or so a week - having a new baby is so different when you get to send them home!

Love to all the monkeys and prayers for all in need!

I have been reading here daily and thinking of you all, but have not posted because I have a very painful broken rib. It's been quite the experience dealing with medical care without insurance (still dealing with that) and am still dealing with a great deal of pain.

But! I have posted the Fall avatars I had made in advance for 4 Donks, Babs, Cadillac, Cookie, Labubski, Sister and TBM, so you all please go see them!

If anyone else would like one, as always, just leave me a post in my section.

I wish you all peace and health!

~Brandi

The Monkeys are falling apart!     Hope you feel better, Brandi.  How is your son?

Thank you Bearly. It's a slow, painful process to mend from a broken rib. Son is fine now, I think he had a kidney stone, even though the ER said he didn't.

So sorry to hear you were in an automobile accident! I hope you did not suffer any bad injuries! I know it's tramatic being in an accident regardless.

Yes, it seems when it rains, it pours on us monkeys!
