hi all! hope that everyone is doing well.
tomorrow our subdivision is having a trick or treat parade around the pond...it is an annual event. last year there were 125 kids. safe daytime trick or treating..parents bring the candy and pass it out as the little goblins march around. The 4 grand daughters are coming out and then they and their families are coming over here for a chili supper...corn bread, hot rolls, pumpkin pie to name a few things..
what do you all have planned for the weekend?

That sounds so nice for the kids, and parents to watch!

And safe. Very cool, cookie!

Nothing planned here this weekend. Hubby did get the deck blown off (leaves) and the leaves mulched in the front and back yards. He's gonna cook a pork loin on the grill tomorrow!

Have fun tomorrow, cookie!

Been on the 2 nerve pain meds and the dosage of each the doc wants me to take for a few days now. Feeling better, but I still need to take muscle relaxants, as the muscles are still spasming. My muscle relaxants do not allow a refill, so I am worried. Will have to call the doc soon to get his advice.

But I am doing much better. Not pain-free, but much better, thanks, cookie!

Brandi I am glad to hear you are doing better. Your week end dinner sounds yummy. Nothing special here. Meant up with daughter at the store to pick up a few things for the grand kids. I remembered why I stopped going to the stores on the week end.

Home made soup sounds great. I love home made soup. Don't make it much just for hubs and I. He doesn't care for it. I still make enough to feed the neighborhood.  How you doing Caddy?

 an angelic monkey

Hi Bearly    an angelic monkey Are you you and cubby doing?

We are hanging in there.  His birthday was yesterday and we had dinner.  He got a new game that he loves!  Parents are the same.  It has been very stressful.  They are both in medical now.  Mom will be going home soon.  Dad is doing well, I still feel like I have to be there all the time.  He never wants me to leave Sad  He knows things there are not right.

How is everyone?

Hi all!

Green Eyes - your neighborhood parade/trick or treat event sounds like so much fun.
Bearlyhere - becoming the parent to ailing parents is so stressful ((((hugs))))
Cookie - "smart" phones are too smart for me, too!
Caddy - I wish it were cold enough for chili here.  My hubby makes ours and it is so good.
Brandi - glad you are getting some relief but I hope you get pain free soon.
Casually Cool - thanks for doing your part to keep us safe!
Sister - ((((hugs)))) for all your words of support

To anyone I missed, hope all is well, and prayers for all in need.

I am going to work with the ponies a little later today.  They have become my therapy.

I know what you mean about shopping on weekends!

I try very hard not to go shopping (grocery and drug stores are about the only brick and mortar stores I go to anymore) on Sat or Sun. My, they are so crowded on those days compared to during the week!
