I agree with y'all about the enema lady.  (I didn't understand why y'all called her that at first, but then I heard her testimony about her JOB).  Ewww...

Anyway, one day I had to turn the TV OFF -- I was sick of her voice.  I thought I heard the judge say she could not testify in a narrative?  Uh, hello??  She goes on and on.

Then this morning as I was watching her and her girls on the stand, I thought to myself what a strange act of events that brought her and E. Johnson together - wasn't it?

I think it should be called Dumb and Dumber, actually - their relationship?

To me, E. Johnson is/was so emotionally unstable that she was trying to prevent Logan from getting Gabriel.  I wonder if and when Tammi became so interested, that she killed Gabriel out of spite/revenge/anger so that NO ONE could try and take him.

You could not make this one up, could you?

Good morning everyone.

Yesterday was a good day for justice -- Tori Stafford's killer was found guilty and the two Bain children were found safe.
Last night I went to deliver the invocation at dinner honoring a good friend of mine, he is the Clerk of the Court in our county.  Anway, it was one of the rare chances I got to dress up.  I dress well aka conservatively on Sundays, funerals, weddings, but not really dress up.  With my new hair cut and the few pounds I have purposely lost (still working on that as I intend to look good when I turn 64 in August!), was good for my ego.  A little ego boost at times is nice.
Lots to do today to get ready for Mother's Day tomorrow.  Hope everyone has a fun weekend.
Prayers going out to all in need -- Bearly hope all goes well at the reunion and 4Donks, praying for you as well.
Blessings.

Thanks Brandi for the beautiful picture of Beela. Poor Jazz is having a really hard time. He and Bee were a bonded pair for 7 years and he howls and looks for her constantly...vet says he is mourning and let him do it his way unless it starts affecting his health with weight loss etc. Again I want to thank everyone for their Prayers (Sister) and kind thoughts.

You're welcome, 4 Donks.

So sorry Jazz is having a rough go with mourning Beela. It's quite normal, I have read, for a dog to mourn another dog in its pack.

A good time for the owner or a human to give the mourning pet some extra positive attention, I have also read.

It's just a sad thing and takes time for all to adjust.

Hope you are doing okay, 4 Donks.

Thanks for your Mother's Day wishes.  I hope everyone enjoys their day whether their babies are human or animal.  Blessings especially to Moms who have lost their children and to women who wanted to be a Mom and missed the experience for whatever reason.

Bearly, you are so kind.  Hope everyone had a wonderful day.  I am going to Mom's today and spend the night.  My refrig/freezer went out completely and I lost all my frozen food and things in refrig as well.  Oh well, a fresh start is always good.  The trustees are going to get one today, so hopefully I will have a new one in a couple days.
Bearly, was the reunion this weekend?
Random acts of kindness -- walking up to someone who is important to you, in whatever way, and telling them how important they are to you.
Blessings and thank you everyone for your continued prayers.  You are important to me!  very much, as this has become a safe haven for my joys and my cares.

Yes.  I did not bring my Dad because I was not familiar enough with the lift and I was afraid one of us would get hurt.  I ended up going late.  My Aunt gave me a picture of my Dad, his two brothers, and his cousin.  When I saw my Father on Sunday, he was crying.  When I showed him the picture, it made him very happy.  My Mother wanted to spend Mother's Day with us, but not with my Father, so that was very hard.  I was so happy to see him later on that evening.  He loved the picture.

So very sad Bearly.  Glad your Dad was happy with the picture.
