Good morning!
Cookie, glad Benji is doing better and how is Molly making out?
Connie was here for a couple of days with Mr. Jenkins -- I feel like a grandmom that can spoil him rotten and then send him home -- lol.

Cookie - so glad to hear the Benji is on the mend!  Thought about ya'll yesterday - while playing with my mutts.

Sister - glad you could adopt for a day!

Funny story for everyone...the other night I went into my bathroom, and it was kinda dark as I hadn't turned the light on yet and I see two little eyes in my closet!!  (Now my mutts can't go back there - electric fence, ya know.)

Out walks out the cutest kitty cat from my closet!!

We had to coax it over to us, to get it out of the house before the mutts saw it...cheese worked well.

I imagine it creeped into the house while we had the doors open that day since it has been so pleasant.  But I have no idea how long it had been in the house, nor in my closet.

She was the prettiest, softest kitty cat.  I am sure it belongs to a neighbor.  Bet she was scared to death - with all the barking and romping the mutts do in my den.

What a wonderful story.

Brandi  Hows your son doing? Praying you are both well. an angelic monkey

Thank you for your concern about my son, Green Eyes.

He still has a few doses of his pain meds left, and has been taking about 1-2 doses a week now, when he is feeling especially bad. Most days he seems much better, but it worries me that he is not "all" better yet. Guess I should be pleased he is better most times though. Wish I knew what the problem was (is).

Still waiting on the ER bill. Hasn't arrived yet. Seems odd to me.

Thanks again for asking.

 an angelic monkey

Hope he feels all better soon.

Evening Monkeys, just got home from the rink. Placed 2nd, which I was really pleased with since I just learned this program a week ago Thursday. Thought I would get 3rd. Thanks for all your good wishes and support. Once I get unwound I will try and catch up. Skating and work has been killing me. Thank goodness for golf yesterday, took my mind off of skating.

Congratulations!

JSM  Skate your butt off girl...

Sister You, Connie and George are still in my prayers.

TBM The skating outfit is stunning.

Trimm  Gad you and yours are OK....come back when you can.

Brandi Sorry son is still having problems with pain...will keep him in my prayers.

Caddi Please remember to take care of yourself.

Cookie Glad Benji is doing better...Mac has perked up with the heart meds and is back to morning and evening donk patrol at the barn.

Green Eyes Have decided I need another pole barn so have set up one tractor with the front end loader and box blade to level ground for it. Just scouting around looking for an area that is reasonably flat.

Sorry if I've missed anyone ( put it down to a senior moment)
4Donks, thank you so much for your prayers.  Connie was dealt another blow this week when the speech therapist said her therapy is coming to an end.  Frankly, it has been a blessing they have kept her this long.  Of course, Connie doesn't see it that way, she is devastated.
Prayers for everyone is the path of the storms.

Prayers continue.

Happy Sunday Monkeys. Woke up late, torrential rain on the way to the rink, thought we wouldn't make it. Thankfully CC drives safely and got me there just in time to get dressed, skates on and order me a T shirt. Practiced this program only twice Friday since the last time I skated last year. I didnt forget a thing, best I think I have ever skated. When they called my name the two guys that drive the Zamboni were at the end of the rink POUNDING on the glass  Monkey Devil! One of them promised he would watch me skate, didn't know that they would act like it was a hockey game

Had to wait FOREVER for the scores, by the time we got them, got my medal and pictures I had to throw on my skating paints OVER my dress and haul butt to Mass. Bet I kinda looked ridiculous with a skating jacket open and all you can see is flesh colored material with sequins.

I really have to thank all you monkeys for giving me the courage and special thoughts. I have to really applaud TBM for the dress, she went over and above, and there were so many compliments on the dress they were asking where I got it and can they order from her?  So TBM you are the new Vera Wang of figure skating design.

Prayed for all of those in need and the victims of the tornados. I know they are moving east so PLEASE stay safe all of you.

Monkey hugs and Kisses. JSM

Congratulations!!!

Bearly - I did not quote you for length but I wanted to let you know how bad I feel for you. I have family like that but I have cut most of them out of the circle of close friends and family. The sad part is that when it is a medical problem it is so much harder to set limits. I do not think that diseases change people - just bring out the problems they had before. I know my mil was always difficult and judgmental, but now without a filter to temper what she says it is terrible. But I have to remember that is not a personal thing. Either way, I keep you in my prayers and remember that sometimes you have to walk away.   an angelic monkey

Thank you!

Oh Trimm, it is so good to see you.  When I sat down at the computer, I said a prayer for you and one for the rest of us,  I hoped today would be the day!  I am so excited you're back.
