JSM - Congratulations!

Happy to hear a good time was had by all at the monkey pool party.  The box of desserts looked pretty good too!

Sister - you and yours are in my prayers.   an angelic monkey

Best to all the monkeys!

Been really busy, but I was just talking to my friend who's nephew was watching the news in Hamlin. They found a body in Sweetwater and think it may be Hailey Dunn.  I can't find a link but if anyone can I will greatly appreciate it. I am going to catch up tomorrow morning.

Thanks to all who came out to the monkey event.

Prayers for all in need and all caregivers. Work and skating is whooping me, plus the 105 temp outside.

Love you all

Here's a link, and if you read a bit farther a couple more articles.  Not much information at this time.

Hi Sister ,

Prayers coming from down South about your journey today to the doctor with George.

You really are a gift from above  an angelic monkey

Looking forward to hearing how your appointment goes...

Caddy
Caddy,
Made it about half way there and had to turn around and come back.  Stomach distress.  I don't know yet what this does to the schedule.
Thank you for thinking of me!

I hope I copied and pasted this correctly.  For y'all that have a few minutes, check out the story of the donkey foal at Auburn University that had a prosthetic limb designed recently.  It is really an interesting read- if you have the time watch the video!  It is the same prosthetic people who worked on the story Dolphin Tale.

My daughter is taking classes at the Vet School there and she is totally impressed.  She said it is an awesome facility.

Oh, Sister, I am so sorry that there was a kink in your plans.  I hope the stomach distress is nothing serious and allows you to just go to Plan B?  I am sure you will find the right course to follow...

Hang tough, lots of monkeys have your back!

Sister, so sorry to hear about your stomach problems today! I do hope they were short-lived.

Thinking of you. Take care of yourself.

Puzzler, if you read here, be sure to see my posts in my avatar section. I made a list of all of your avatars I made since March 2010 for you! (Making the list was a 4-hour endeavor!) But worth it, if you copy it for your files.

Congrats on the successful venture.  These new navigation devices are great, but I never feel like they really know the best way to get places.  Hope you enjoy the competition.

Afternoon Monkeys   Hope everyone's having a good day. Prayers for all that need them. I just wanted to share something with everyone. We all have gotten the emails that give us helpful hints. Most of the time they don't work as well as they say. Today granddaughter got all in a panic as she found a tick on Bentleys leg.  I remember a friend had sent me a helpful hint on how to remove them easily. So looked it up. Soak a cotton ball in liquid dish soap and rub it around for about a minute on the tick and it will back it's self out and should stick to the cotton ball. It worked the ticked backed out but didn't stick to the cotton ball. But I used a pair of tweezers and pulled it out of the hair. No problem. Of course it was in an area we could rub with cotton ball. Just thought I would pass it on.

Everyone stay cool in the heat.
