I am so sorry I have not been around.

Please say some prayers for my brother and his family.  He was killed in a work-related accident.  I am on the way to see my Dad and attend the services.  He is the brother whose son I asked you for prayers for several ears ago when he was killed in an accident, also.  He is my son's Godfather and a real role model for him, as my son's father is also deceased.  My son, my brother, and I were very close and saw each other at least once a week, and talked on the phone a lot.  My brother and I visiting my Dad together always got my Dad laughing.  I am going to miss him so very much.  He now resides in a big place in my heart.

Thank you so very much!

My dear Bearly, sorry I haven't responded sooner, but know you have been in my heart.

Most gracious God, the curtain of death has fallen between Bearly and her family and the ones they love.  Give them the strength and wisdom they need: the strength to face and endure their enormous loss and the wisdom to rise above their grief.  God, who gives us life and receives us when our life is over, keep them and comfort them now.  May our confidence in your goodness and our faith in your purpose be unwavering.  And may our words be true to your glory and your creation this day and forevermore.  Amen and Amen.

Cookie -- hope you have a joyful trip.  It sounds like so much fun!

GE, glad you have air-conditioning.  Hope they fix it for real today.

Taking George to Baltimore today to meet with the ear doctor and the plastic surgeon.  Another long day, but it will be a blessing I am sure.

Good morning everyone!

Just want to give you an update on George -- taking him tomorrow to Hopkins for his pre-op physical, then next Tuesday to meet with the surgeon (Dr. David Eisele, who specializes in parotid tumor cancers) (it is malignant), the following Monday to meet with the plastic surgeon (Dr. Burns), and the following Thursday the 9th for his surgery.  Just so thankful that at this point George is not in pain.
Dennis is not happy with all that I am doing, insisting George's family and/or children should be doing this.  Well, they haven't for the last 24 years with all the surgeries and problems.  I developed an attitude a long time ago not to concern myself with what they do or don't do.  I don't look for support from them anymore, that ended years and years ago -- thus I am not disappointed in their inaction.
Meeting with a parishioner today and a lawyer.  She has been charged with embezzlement of hundreds of thousands of dollars from a bank.  She will be going to federal jail.  Her husband (POS) has left her and just waiting for her to be in prison to take over her home with his new squeeze.  Lord, the stupid things people do.
Have a funeral on the 4th for a premature baby girl.
But other than this, and Connie and my Mom -- absolutely nothing happening in my life.
Just need prayers from my monkey friends for strength and patience as I travel these muddied waters.
Blessings.

Prayers coming for you.

Brandi, I love the name Wally, and GE, he is so cute and your son's dog is going to need his own apartment!

Morning Monkeys  I am having a panic attack here. Woke up about 5:30 because it was warm in the house. Went to check A/C and it isn't turning on. The compressor out side starts up but the part in the house doesn't turn on.  It's Sunday I am not going to be able to get any body out until tomorrow.  Will call the guy we used last year and pray he can come fix it. But am going to have to go to walmart and pray they have some window units left. And get one to at least cool down one room.    They are calling for 106 again today.

Ye gads, this is not the time for the a/c to go kerplunk.  But it seems like our units always go out in the summer, too.  Hope the cool is fixed for real, soon.

http://ocm.auburn.edu/featured_story/saving_emma.html

I hope I copied and pasted this correctly.  For y'all that have a few minutes, check out the story of the donkey foal at Auburn University that had a prosthetic limb designed recently.  It is really an interesting read- if you have the time watch the video!  It is the same prosthetic people who worked on the story Dolphin Tale.

My daughter is taking classes at the Vet School there and she is totally impressed.  She said it is an awesome facility.

Wow!

Hi Sister ,

Prayers coming from down South about your journey today to the doctor with George.

You really are a gift from above  an angelic monkey

Looking forward to hearing how your appointment goes...

Caddy
Caddy,
Made it about half way there and had to turn around and come back.  Stomach distress.  I don't know yet what this does to the schedule.
Thank you for thinking of me!

I can totally relate to the stomach distress.  Sorry this happened.

Sorry for your family's loss.  It sounds like your family has had its share of tragedies.  May his memories bring you more smiles than tears.   an angelic monkey

He makes me smile through the tears!  Thank you!
