Cadi...sounds like a great  doggie daycare..
Molly goes to daycare twice or 3 times a week at home. It is a must for her. She is really restless tonight cause she is full of piss and vinegar from lack of playing. We have walked her a bunch but it does not take th place of rough housing with other dogs. Sigh...
Have you tried throwing a ball and playing fetch? That may help her instead of walking. Josef would walk and walk and walk, but playing with his toys would wear him out when he was a younger dog.
I am by no means any kind of "super doggie owner" but I recall in one of the many obedience classes we went to for the criminal, we were told that if they couldn't get their exercise in, that giving them a good bone would help - like maybe does something to their brain and tires them out.  I don't think I dreamed that- like a real hard bone for them to knaw on would wear them out?  Ha ha - mine are just plain LAZY.

it does help Molly if she is kept busy chewing on bones. that is exercise to a degree I guess..
she went to doggie day care yesterday and she was really tired last night ha ha! so mellow when she is tired. a year from now, this will all be a distant memory when she outgrows this puppy stage..getting better every day though..she is so smart and knows and obeys most every thing that we tell her to do...can't believe how fast she has caught onto commands etc..nothing elaborate, just like sit, lay down, stop, etc..those type of things...only 7 months old and weights over 60 pounds!

Just a quick note to let everyone know I am home for a few days.  George has been transferred to acute rehab at Hopkins.  Left there this morning and always feel sad leaving, but I am so glad to be out of the city and will sleep in my own bed tonight.  Still do not have the pathologist report -- am praying to hear something Monday.
Glad everyone is well and safe.
Blessings.

Thank you Cookie and everyone for the thoughts and prayers.
It was wonderful sleeping in my own bed and making coffee this morning and drinking out of my own cup.
Am not preaching today so slept in a little.  Brought Mr. Jenkins home with me last night -- he is such a cuddler.
Trying to get caught up on bill paying etc.  Just so glad to be home.

You are so right -- there is no place like home.
Connie is doing better.  I cut her pain meds in half and while I was gone, one of her sons took her to the doctor.  The doctor agreed with what I had done.  Hopefully Tuesday she and I can go and celebrate my birthday, which was yesterday.  I am now 64 and loving it.  Today Dennis and I are going to lunch.  This situation with George has put a strain on our relationship, but there are some things in life I will not change and taking care of George is one of them.
So enjoying my coffee this morning.

Son leaves for home this evening. It's been wonderful getting to see him. Mostly meal times.  As they have been site seeing and his dad hasn't been up to it. I am really glad we didn't go yesterday as they were in Dallas walking around when the rain hit. They had to run back to the car a mile away. Lets just say they really were wet.    Hope everyone's having a nice week end.

Well egt a load of this.

JSM tried to beat me home from work today to make me another pie.  WHY???  Just see below.  It appears she got up in the middle of the night and ravaged my pie!!!!

I had one slice last night, with Blue Bell ice cream Muffy, and when she came home from work she was almost crying.  She showed me what was left of the pie, in the garbage at that, as if to hide the evidence.

I think next time she should bake two pies, one for him and one for her.

And maybe he should put his in a pie safe.  None of the pie safe's I'm looking at online have a lock though....   Monkey Devil!  Maybe you could put an alarm on it, CC.
